Disclaimer: I do not own Greek Mythology, nor do I own the considerable contribution's made to it recently da Rick Riordan, the king of trolls. Credit also to O. Henry for providing inspiration via his Jimmy Valentine character, minor inspiration also attributed to Kiritsugu Emiya from Fate/Zero (Which is a fantastic Anime btw)

Jake Patrick is just as much a myth and a legend as some of the original Greek Heroes. According to his records he is currently eighteen but despite his age is giving the authorities of the world a run for their money. (Literally) He's a extremely skilled son of Hermes with a legacy of Hephaestus, making him the perfect taker of precious possession's. He has black eyes, is 5'10 and short slick black hair, skinny but subtlety muscled, complete with long dexterous finger's he radiates grace. He radiates confidence and happiness, as twitchy as a school boy, as inquisitive as Holmes, competitive and easily bored he seeks thrills. He has no real Amore for normal gem's, anyone's he actually wants to keep he steals back anyways. A enigmatic thief if ever there was one

Jake embodies all that which is the trickster; a wide array of magical moves that allow his jobs to be as smooth as butter. Slowing his cuore beat to remain undetected, o speeding himself up to ten times normal speed for starter's. Preforming illusion's, planting hypnotic suggestion's, like every shrink ever, manipulating heat in every way possible including to preforming launches the scorch the ground. His mastery of technology in combination with his knowledge of lock's and stealth making him a powerful natural thief, perhaps one of the best. Finally for the rare occasion somebody can actually touch him he is a journeymen of Vitakinesis, the art of healing. On multiple occasion's he's been known to calmly walk in and out of his target location without incident, like a ghost with a weak spot for shiny things.

The enigma that is Jake Patrick never ceases to confuse and amaze guarders of precious material's. His armor is the embodiment of Steampunk-Olympian , plenty of rune's, plenty of piston's, complete with helpful A.I it acts più like a nano-suit than Iron-man's armor. It's interlocked with chain mail allowing a contained flow like a thick metal skin, taking full advantage of his ability to control heat da autonomous parts of his armor running on it, the key to it's power's is striking the balance. To warm and something is risked blowing up quite spectacularly, two cold and it can actually slow him down quite significantly. Complementary to the hard metal and complicated tech of his armor is a black fifteenth century Mediterranean accappatoio, vestaglia employed da such character's as Ezio Auditore. Only the kilt and cappuccio and truly visible, the chest is covered da his armor it's più for magical conductivity then physical protection. To control all of this is a mask employed da character's such as Corvo Attano, with this he can keep on superiore, in alto of what he's facing analyze their moves and coordinate his movements.

For weapon's he uses a pair of located on his back Zatoichi's in dual-wielding combat primarily, although he does vary it for the opponent considering the monster hunting he does on the side and the sometimes magical guards. Accompanying the Zatoichi's on his back is a two-handed longsword without a big fancy hilt guard, and a quiver that store's the condensed form of a bow, crossbow, Winchester fucile and M4A1. As te can already tell Jake is no stranger to modern weapon's, he is far from the status quo of demigod's, that is for sure. On the back of his cintura has two one-handed crossbow's, 92 Beretta's, several syringe's full of healing material and two bag's that allow quick access to kunai, scrolls, Come d’incanto gem, automaton's, that sort of things. On the side of his cintura he has two Calico smg's and modified flintlock style pistol's. To finish it of Jake has blade's the can come out from his bracer's pair accompanied da magically modified Chinese rope dart's, survival knives under his arm's and two 62 Thompson Contender's on his leg's. Armed to the teeth doesn't do him justice. When not wearing these item's he is most commonly found wearing a black-grey dress camicia under a black vest, black dress pant's and a long black business jacket.

With that insane arsenal you're surely wondering, "How does he carry it all?". He doesn't have the Avatar of the fade ability to attune weapon's to tattoo's if they "Agree" with him. Nor does he possess the ability of Egyptian magician's to store something in a locker anywhere in the world. The answer is a black stylized brief-case complete with some of the finest tech ever made da a demigod. It has four three-digit code locks spread across the superiore, in alto and one key lock, opening one of them will lead to different thing. Knowing the code but not using the key will open a brief case full of paperwork and such for the giorno job. Opening it with the key will lead several technological gadget's and what not but nothing unseen da mortal eye's. Opening both however will lead to a marvel, one half of the brief-case will be dedicated to delicate security feature's for the retrieval of what will appear in the other half: condensed form's of all Jake's tool's. For example Zatoichi's condensed are balisong o "Butterfly knives" Sleek, unsuspecting, and yet has weapon quantity that's comparable to a U.S army base, sadly though it's completely one of a kind.

Jake shares a New York apartment with Franklin Forsythe, a utterly unsociable yet undeniably intelligent elitist detective so of Athena, legacy of Nemesis. They get along like oil and water but like oil and water they are certainly needed to fuel something. Together they generally cover up each others fallout as they disagree a fair bit but are essential for the greater good. Both seek to have mastery of the element's so that they may further excel in their mission's. But most importantly both of them are nine part's noble ambition two part's thrill seeking adventurer. As for either of them, well you'll hear of them soon.

After having arguments over why demigods don't use pistole with my friends, I decided to do this. So I figured that there wouldn't have been bullets for the pistole untill the end of book 3, so this is how the libri might have turned out had demigods used common sence (and guns).

If Demigods Used Guns…

The crowd screamed insults at me, but Antaeus raised his hand for silence.

"Just my gun" I relplied.
The gates opened again, and...

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

"Okay, that sucked," Janie detto quietly, while studying her face in the mirror. (Hey, even if we don't act like our sisters, we still care that we look okay.)
"Ya think so?" I said.
"How are we going to find Eve?" She asked. "Elizabeth might've been a lead!"
I sighed, "Well, freaking out doesn't really help much, but I have an idea to where the heck she might be."
"Sure ya do!"
Carter's door opened, "Do te people ever sleep?"
"I'd Amore to say yes, but no." I smiled. "Go get Percy and tell him to pack up his stuff. We're leaving."
