I got this idea from the wonderful link, and thought I'd give it a try of my own. I generally don't bother try sort any characters into a favourites lista because they tend to fluctuate on an hourly basis. I think I've a fairly solid lista for Percy Jackson though.
7)Piper
I don't like Piper at all. I find her very self-pitying and Leggere her POVs is a trial for me. Under normal circumstances she may have a reason to complain once o twice, but in her own chapters it seems all her problems come back to the fact that she's too beautiful, her father's too rich and famous and successful, and it's all so embarrassing. I have no patience for that kind of complaining. Especially when te take into account what all the others have had to deal with in their lives and te don't hear any of them complain.
What skills exactly does Piper bring to the tavolo in the group of seven? She can't fight, so she often has to be looked after in a battle which makes her a liability. One of the first things to happen to her in HoH was get captured/tied up. She can charmspeak, yes, which would be a fantastic help in their quest if it didn't fail whenever they most needed it. Piper's role is the role of negotiator, she is supposed to be the peacemaker in the group of warriors. The one to make peace between the Greeks and Romans, which is a shockingly important job but what skill for it has she shown so far? In the time they really needed it, when they got to New Rome, she failed spectacularly. Not just because she dropped the ball but she failed to watch to catch it in the first place. Why? Because she was fretting over her boyfriend. Fair enough in a normal situation but not when the fate of the two camps could be decided. She was the one whose actions would determine whether there is friendship o bloodshed between the two camps, and her selfishness and obsession with her boyfriend's past got in the way of her duty.
Lastly it is the way she treats Jason that gets on my nerves. When she found out that all her memories of her relationship with Jason were false, the only thing she thought about was how this would affect her and their relationship. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I might be, but did she ever once wonder how her boyfriend must be feeling? After all he was the one who had his entire life erased, and was dato a completely new identity. But it was just all about Piper.
6)Jason
I don't find anything wrong with Jason, per say, he has some issues and tendencies that annoy me but mostly I just find him very bland. All the other characters are filled with life and exuberance and individuality. Jason's ... not. There's never any surprise when it comes to Jason because he's just so straight-laced all the time. He's dutiful, a leader, he follows the rules, he's boring. I'll admit that some of my dislike comes from the fact that he filled the Percy role in The Lost Hero. I'm not saying he's a Percy-wannabe like some people do because he's not, but he filled Percy's role in the book: the main character, the leader, the backbone. And he was such a poor substitute. te expected someone just as fun and engaging as Percy and Jason failed to deliver for me.
5 & 4)Frank & Hazel
I like the two of them well enough. Their relationship is a little bit squicky to me though considering she's 13 and he's 16. I liked Frank well enough in the beginning, I just wasn't really sure what to think of him, but if he continues to grow the way he has so far I'm going to Amore him. Hazel, her story is a little tired as we've already gone through it all with Nico. I'm concerned about her magic gift getting too powerful though, because it has the potential to go that way.
3)Leo
I Amore Leo, he's fun and mischievous, but has quite a lot of depth to him if te only look. His promise to Calypso was completely heart-warming. But he can also go the opposite way, Leo has a tendency to be too flippant, to take teasing too far, and he ends up being unintentionally cruel.
2)Annabeth
I Amore Annabeth because she's the smarts of the operation, but at the same time she can hold her own in a fight. This is actually very unusual in literature because it's generally one o the other. I also Amore how well she complements Percy. She's the brains and he's the backbone. They save each other equally, both give equally in their relationship.
1)Finally, Percy
I adore Percy, we spent five libri getting to know him and going back the character development is astonishing. He's a joy to read about because he's funny, snarky, makes jokes at inappropriate times, but knows when enough is enough. Unlike Leo when we first met him, Percy can put aside all jokes in a serious situation. He's the most interesting character because he seems so happy go lucky, but if te piss him off in the wrong way there is no hesitation when he destroys you. Unlike most of the others, I admire him for his fatal flaw. The willingness to do anything for those he loves is the core to his personality, and even now he still fails to see how that's such a terrible thing. He's been through far più than anyone should ever have to, and even still he makes it a point to make sure Annabeth smiles once o twice in Tartarus. He's so complex and that makes him so real to me. He can be extraordinarily kind and malicious in equal measure.

Annebeth looked around the crowd despretly looking for Percy. Brown hair blue eyes,no Black hair hazle eyes,no.Then she saw Percy step inoltrare, avanti in a purple toga "Welcome Greeks" he said"Please come so we can talk" Annebeth heard a creeking noise and saw a set of stairs unfolding from the ship. She rushed over and taking two steps at a time she ran all the way to the bottom the sprinted over to Percy and nearly tackled him in a orso hug. Then she backed up and punched him in the arm "Ow" he complained "What was that for" "That" she detto "Was for leaving me for 8 months." "Hey" he detto " I didn't have any control over that" Annebeth didnt ansewer she just hugged him again "Well'l talk later" he whispered in her ear. Then he turned to the Camp-Half Blood campers "Please follow me so we can talk" then he turned to what looked like a city and with his arm around Annebeth, she knew that she finnaly had Percy back.
