What do te think would have happened if Gale went into the Hunger Games with Katniss instead of Peeta?

i think there would have been an element of stella, star crossed innamorati but gale reacts to rashly to have manipulated the capitol like peeta did. gale probably would have gone into the games all pistole blazing and got himself killed trying to kill as many people as possible

I think they might have gotten together, but Gale might have been a kind of Rambo, and tried to kill everyone, and the capitol wouldnt like him like they like Peeta.

Well, Prim and Mrs. Everdeen would have been left unfed (Gale's family also) Edit: Peeta would probably take care of them, almost forgot about him. And I actually don't think Gale would have confessed his Amore for Katniss in front of millions of people, because IMO he's not an open person, he's più mysterious, and probably would've told Katniss in a più private area (Probably). They would be allies but Katniss would just think how she cannot kill her best friend and I think Gale might say something wrong in his interviews and put his family in trouble and I also think he would probably die trying to "Hunt" people, because he thinks killing people is like hunting. Unlike Katniss, who for once used her brain and survived instead of killed, she only killed if necessary.

Even if Gale went into the Hunger Games with Katniss I'm sure Peeta would take care of Prim and KE's mom. Although Peeta would have never gotten a chance with Katniss because Gale and Katniss would have confessed their Amore for each other in the arena.

I don't think Gale would have survived actually. I'm sure he and Katniss would confess their Amore for each other but I don't they could have pulled off the star-crossed innamorati act like her and Peeta, even though they were genuine feelings. He isn't as level headed as Peeta is. He wouldn't have been able to stand playing along with the Capitol and he wouldn't have been able to exploit his real feelings for Katniss and he probably wouldn't have been able to hold back his hatred for the Capitol and their situation. He'd either die in the arena trying to protect Katniss o pull some stunt which would have ended in his execution and probably Katniss' too. But te never know that could have a provoked a rebellion as well.

Pretty depressing isn't it? I don't have anything against Gale da the way. I just don't think he's as level-head and objective as Peeta. He wouldn't have thought to play the audience like Peeta did. I can see the berries still happening though.

I would murder everyone cause he should live and Peeta should die!
