How did te feel when rue died?

It went something like this:

Me: Ohnoohnoohnoohnoohno, they can't kill her yet nonononono! DON'T DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
*minutes later*
Me: *crying on the floor* RUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!!!
WHYYYYYYYY????????

And from that giorno on, there were tear stains on the pages of my copy of The Hunger Games.

i felt so disappointed and sad...she was a very influential and powerful character in the Hunger Games. I really wanted to fling the book across the room then.

SO SAD!!!!! I CRIED!

i cried when she died :(

Well, definitely not one of my favourite moments <.<. I really wish she could've survived.. but then again, it would defeat a lot of purpouse in the books. Rue's death was the main reason behind the revolution. It started in District Eleven because of her death.

I felt so sad I almost cried and was like no no no Rue can't die!!

i cried when i read it in the book and i cried during the movie

I'm probably the only one who didn't cry. Yes, Rue was a lot like Prim, and I was shocked when I read that she was hit with the spear. But, she didn't make that big of an impression on me in the books. To put it blatantly, she was bound to die anyway.
Call me heartless, if te must.

I cried alot. I thought, Rue can't die! She's like Katniss's little sister!!! I was with my friend and she cried because she detto Rue reminded her of me... It was a sob fest at the theater!

I was so sad, I didn't cry in the book, but in the movie...maybe it was just how Jennifer/katniss sang it...

well, we all know the answer for this question! lol, is it normal to cry for a fictional character's death about 2 days straight??? cuz thats how i was! i didnt cry 2 whole days, but i felt depressed and i didnt want to go to school...i felt like i knew her..like i had this bond with her like katniss did...lol!

i started crying in front of like 50 people during the movie

In the book:
I liked Rue and all but she wasn't that main of a character, and I'm sorry to say, but I kinda laughed.
In the movie:
it was definitely sadder and I didn't like it but I still laughed.

I kind of laughed. I was più focused on the libri and the plot and stuff rather then the characters.

i practily fainted when i knew the fact that rue died! when i came home from the movie i was still crying.....

Sad & Depressed

Knew it was comeing from when she didn't mostra up... I knew she was going to die...Still sad!

we where actually Leggere this for a school assignment (i was so HAPPY) and then this had to come up. my teacher read it, and when i was walking out she asked "oh hon your crying whats wrong??" i wiped a tear and looked out the window. "RIP rue...rip" now i think my teacher thinks im psyco (i am btw) but really! why the cute innocent lovly rue?!?! Darnnn it.

right when i read it when it detto "the spear entered her stomach", i just stared at the page and tried to process what happened. i finally read the rest and after Katniss surrounded her with fiori and gave the salute to district 11, i threw my book onto the ground and soaked my cuscino with my amaro tears. all i kept thing was "she was only twelve... she was only twelve..."

When I was Leggere the book, I stared at the lines, "Before a spear enters her body" and "Rue's cannone fires" for a long time, murmuring, "Change, change, change, change..." And then I flung the book away, lay in bed, and stared at the ceiling with tears running down my face for half an ora going, "It's just a book...just a book...just a book..."

When I was at the movie, I bawled my eyes out and then to keep myself from sobbing too loudly I clamped one hand over my mouth and started making these bizarre clicking noises...half of the theater turned to stare at me.

Simple.
I angrily threw the book across the room.
And broke the libri spine.

it was the most powerful scene in the book. When Katniss did the D12 salute, D11 achknolaged her, and i cant forget that.

Rue (Amandla Stenberg) is one of the best and cute characters in the hunger games, i could not control my self to cry when she died, the producer should made 3 victors for the movie including Rue.

I was rereading Hunger Games today, and I cried again when Rue died. It's not as sad in the book as in the movie for me, though.

I was surprised. Rue was probably my preferito character for a long time.
However, I didn't cry. It is very rare for me to cry over the death of a fictional character.

I was freakin crying my eyes out.
I read the book and bawled for over two hours and then the movie....
Lets just say I bawled my eyes out for the rest of the movie.

At fist I was shocked, then I was sad. Rue did not deserve to die
