When and how did te discover The Hunger Games?

My cousin is full on obsessed with the Hunger Games. She's read all the libri I don't know how many times, watched the movie even more, etc. On her phone she has number of days until Catching fuoco comes out, and used to have the number of days until The Hunger Games came out on DVD.
She told my I HAD to read the book and gave it to me. I started Leggere one afternoon and was up until 2:30 am on a school night Leggere it lol. Unfortunately I didn't finish it and then spent any spare secondo at school the successivo giorno trying to finish it.
I was hooked. I went and bought the Trilogy for myself and was able to convice my parents to let me rent the movie - LOVED IT - and bought the movie too ^^ And so now I am also obsessed with The Hunger Games.

I first head about The Hunger Games when I was a sophmore (I'm a senior now) and my mom told me about it because she thought it sounded interesting. When she described it I thought kids were thrown into one of those things gladiators fight in and fight each other and when they won they got food.

I remember Leggere the trilogy during Cahsee testing. A anno later the movie came out.

Everything I read becomes a movie eventually.
