i think that alexandra is a bit old. plus i didn't really like her acting in percy jackson either. most of them are a bit too old. but i think kaya would be really good. definitely not the unknown girl though. i don't like her at all.

I really love Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss!
She's one of the best actresses of that age group. She was nominated for an Oscar! Katniss needs to be played by someone who can really act the part, not just someone who looks the part but can't really act. And Jennifer Lawrence really does fit the look of Katniss quite well :)
Besides, they auditioned so many people to get the role. Some absolutely amazing actresses were all competing. Jennifer Lawrence did the best, and Suzanne Collins loves her as Katniss! I think the main reason people don't like the choice is because she has (well, had) blonde hair, but that's silly (and they dyed her hair, so no worries XD) I'm really happy with the casting :)
