I took a glance at Edward's and I took in a sharp breath. He face was a scowl almost hostile, as he stared at me through burning burro scotch eyes. I almost regreted my vow. But even in a scowl, his face we still beautiful.

"Mind if I sit?" I asked him.

He didn't answer, only stared.

Alice gave him a look he could have seen out of the corner of his eye. His face dropped into something a bit più along the lines of calm and he blinked a few times before speaking. "Of course." He nodded.

I sat down and glanced around the table. Rosalie was fingering a black, glossy pendent around her neck. The same one Alice had on her choker, Emmett and Jasper had on their cuffs, and Edward had on his ring that was placed on his middle finger.

"So, Bella," Alice's voice brought me out of my world. "Tell us about yourself."

"Um, well, I guess I could start with, Jacob, my twin brother, and I, moved here from Seattle about five months fa after our parent's died."

"Oh." Rosalie gasped. "I'm so sorry. How did they die?"

"Car wreck. An eighteen wheeler tipped over ontop of them." I felt horrible lying. I sighed for affect. "Anyway, Cheif cigno was very close with my parents and was practly our Uncle since we called him 'Uncle Chairle'. He was all we had. So we are here for another year, untill we turn 18."

"Wow." Emmett sighed. "What a life."

"What about te guys?" I asked.

"Rosalie and I are twins. Our parents died also." Jasper told me.

"I was an only child, a McCardy." Emmett sighed and leaned back in his chair, his arm still behind Rose."

"Edward and I are twins, thought we look nothing alike." Alice laughed. "We don't even act the same. He's all, calm and concertive."

"And she is a pixi on crack." Edward laughed. I could feel my stomach flip at the sound of it. "Our parent's adopted these three here when we were all freshman."

The campana, bell rang for first block.

"Oh, what class do te have right now?" Alice called to me.

"Biology. Mr.Davis." I told her slinging my bag over my shoulder.

"Oh, Edward does too!" She smiled. "He can mostra te were it is, can't te Edward?" She didn't wait for a reply as she pranced out with door on Jaspers arm.

"Guess te don't have much of a choice do you?" I smiled at him. "Ever."

He laughed. "You don't even know." He opened the door for me and motioned me ahead. "Are te liking Tennessee so far?"

"I've always loved Tennessee." I told him. "I'm from Memphis."

"I thought te detto te were from Seattle?" He asked.

"No. I just moved from Seattle. Born and raied southern girl up untill I was fifteen. We lived in Seattle for almost a anno and then my parents died so we had to sposta back here."

"It must be terrible. Losing your parents." He shook his head.

"It was." I sighed. "But I had Jacob. We had eachother." I smiled. "Guess I kind of know how te and Alice are."

He smiled slightly. "Guess so." He looked down at me. "Thought my sister is very pretty, she doesn't compair."

I blushed. Thanks Dad! I was used to guys saying things like that, but he was different. It felt different just hearing it. "Thank you."


First giorno of school:
Paper due in English successivo week,
Trig test Friday,
Car messes up as soon I pull up in the driveway....Great day.

"Jake." I call as I climb the stairs. "My car needs a looking at!"

He openes his bedroom door and I see a girl behind him. I stop and lean back to get a better view of her. Her skin is creamy like mine and her hair is blond falling in long ringlets down her back. "Who's that?" I smirk and stand back up.

"Emily." He smiles. "Now what's up with your car?"

"Dunno'." I shrug and walk into my room setting my stuff down. "I pulled into the driveway and it started recitazione funny." I walked back over to him, my hands on my hips. "Can te take a look at it?"

"Sure." He turns around and tells Emily he will be right back. I lean up against the door frame and smiled at her.

"Hi." I walk over and offer my hand. "I'm Bella. Jakes twin sister."

"Emily. He told me alot about you." She smiles. "Though te two look nothing alike."

"No." I laugh. "So how old are you?"

"16." She nodds.

"Junior?"

"Yep." She pops her "p".

"Don't let goody-goody Jake go getting te into trouble." I roll my eyes and she laughs.

"Good." Jake appears behind me. "I thought te might have been scaring her off."

"Nope." I smile. "It was nice meeting you." I tell Emily. "I'm going to the library."

"Wanna' borrow mine?"

"Naw. I want to walk. Thanks though." I smile at him and grab my bag before walking out.


I leave faster than I thought I would, due to the poorly stocked shelves. I would have to make a trip to Rivergate once Jake has my car fixed. I thank the ond grayhaird lady behind the counter and push open the heavy glass door. I walked down the short flight of stairs and take a few steps before I stop. And when I do, it's infront of a shiny black volvo, and leaning up against it, is Edward.

"Hey." He smirks. "I stopped da your house to give te this. te left it in 4th block and left before I could get it to you." He holds out my Tig book. "Jacob detto te were here. And da the white car sitting in your driveway, I would guess that te need a ride to Rivergate?" He cocks an eyebrow.

I walk over to him and take my book. "How did te know I needed to go there?"

"Because they have a Barns and Noble." He smiles, sticking his hands in his pockets.

I have to smile slightly. It's contagious. "Okay." I nod. "Yeah, I cuold use a ride."

He walks around and opens the door, gestering me in with his arm.

"Thank you." I smile and slide into the leather sede, sedile as he shuts the door.

This trip could turn out two ways.
1.This could go exacatly the way I want it to.
2.Turn into something bigger than we are both looking at.
