18: Home
The giorno was nearly over, da now they had reached their destination: Springfield, Illinois. Several times the carriage had stopped, Tristan leaving for short periods of time, always returning silent, the carriage marched on. He had retired when they were almost in Illinois, coming upon the border between Iowa and Illinois. David had remained with Jack and Rosalie, though he kept to himself, For Whom the campana, bell Tolls had been replaced with A Tale of Two Cities. Eventually though he too went to his room, leaving Jack and Rosalie alone.
They were on the couch, Rosalie’s head on Jack’s chest, right where his cuore should have been beating. It was comforting-laying like this she felt like she was home. She couldn’t even begin to recall the numerous times they had been like this-entwined in each other, feeling his body under hers, listening to his steady breathing, the pulsing of his heart. It was in these times when she could be inhibited and carefree, whether she wanted to laugh hysterically, cry and have fits; she knew she could do so there with no judgment. There, where the sun beat down upon them, the erba younger than them, the ocean in front of them centuries older. There, where there was no eyes watching, no lips gossiping. There, where they could Amore without restrictions.
There, where they could be free.
She turned her head ever so slightly so she could see his face. His eyes were open, looking up at the ceiling; a crease in his eyebrows told her that he was thinking very hard about something-something he did not like at all.
“What?” she asked him. “What’s wrong?”
Silence answered her at first. She heard him take a breath before he detto “I think we should wait.” She turned the words in her mind, sitting up on him, looking at him.
“Wait? What are te talking about?”
“Wait until you’re healed. Emotionally, I mean.”
She climbed off him, standing, her arms crossed over her chest, looking down at him. “I’m fine. And once we’re mortal and married I’ll be perfect.”
He sighed and stood as well, though she simply turned her head up to see his face. “You may think you’re fine now, but what happens when we’re human again? When we feel all the human emotions again? mostra them again?”
She looked at him, her eyes narrowed in dangerous slits that made him back away. “I know what I want. Grieve? Been there, done that. The only time I needed to grieve was when I Lost you-and that hadn’t stopped until I saw te again. Yes, part of me hurts for what I’ve Lost and despite the years Emmett…” Her sentence was cut short but a loud snarl from Jack. She looked at him, a bemused and slightly unnerved smile on her lips. “And I had, it paled in comparison to what we had, no matter how brief it may have been. I’ll take whatever pain comes but you’re worth it.”
He rolled his eyes at her bravado, wanting nothing più than to grab her and shake her, hoping it would jar her out of this place she was in. “I Amore you, Rosalie Lillian Hale and because I do, I’m going to promise the following to you: marry you, father your children, protect you, Amore you, cherish you, but I still think te need to grieve first.”
She scowled at him. “Did te hear anything I said?”
“Yes. Did te hear anything I said?”
“Yes.”
“Isn’t that what te want?”
“Yes-with te and più than anything.”
“Fine. Then do as I ask and I will be your slave.”
She stepped closer to him, her eyes wider now and somehow even più dangerous. “You want me to grieve? To get over my loss?”
“Yes, più than anything” he practically whispered.
She smirked and kissed him gently, pulling him on the couch, so he was over her. He instantly stopped, making her sigh. “You’re impossible.”
“No Rose te are. I tell te to grieve and te seduce me?”
She shrugged and he just looked at her. “I’m sorry” she finally said, looking at him. He looked at her and sighed, his head falling to his chest. “What?”
“When did everything get so damn complicated? Remember when we were younger and everything was so much simpler. Well, simpler than it is now.”
She nodded her head wistfully saying “yes, I know what te mean. It was a far easier time than where we stand now.”
“It wasn’t just the time; it was the way we were around each other. Well, once but…”
“Jack, I know I will feel pain for what I have Lost but I will be ok. I can’t wait to marry you, can’t wait to have our first child growing inside me. I know this is right. te do too. Maybe te can’t see it but the only time I feel sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza and complete is when I’m with you. Being with te feels good. Home”
He looked at her, his body was reacting in a strange way to the way she had detto our child…It wasn’t necessarily a bad feeling but it was definitely different. And he liked it. He cocked his head, looking at her still. “First child?”
She smiled. “Did te really think I wanted to stop at one?”
He took a breath and sighed though once again from euphoria, not pain. Not even in his wildest dreams-and they got beyond wild at many points-had he thought that this conversation would happen, that Rosalie would be so close that he could touch her. She looked at him, again worried. “I’m fine…Just can’t believe this is real.”
“I know. Surreal.”
He chuckled and gently kissed her, pressing her body closer to his. “Now who’s seducing who?”
He laughed again. “Oh this isn’t seducing.” She smiled and kissed him once più before she lay back on him, her head going right back to its original position. She felt his body relax, one arm weaving through her hair, the other holding her hand tightly. Yes, this was home.
“Rose?”
“What?”
“Let’s just start with one and maybe work our way up.”
She laughed. “You say that now.”
He kissed the superiore, in alto of her hair and she closed her eyes. “Never leave me” she whispered.
“Never ever.” He sealed the promise with a deep, passionate baciare that made time stand still and the angeli in heaven looked down and cheered.

Glance the other way
Rip your cuore out
I just don't care anymore
You're useless
And uncaring
te know nothing!
Yet te pretend te do
You're a pretender
A pretender is just a liar in disguise
A pretender is a faker
A pretender hides
A pretender is a maker
Of the dark abyss
te told me once
I told te twice
Now what?
Do we forget the past?
Live for the future?
o remember and continue on our path?
...Decisions...Decisions...
Left o right?
Up o down?
Wrong o right?
Please give me the answer
For I do not know
Right and wrong any longer
Rip your cuore out
I just don't care anymore
You're useless
And uncaring
te know nothing!
Yet te pretend te do
You're a pretender
A pretender is just a liar in disguise
A pretender is a faker
A pretender hides

Chapter 4: Sunny day
These were the days of peace and happiness.
Days were spent in peace and love.
Jack loved his job, even though he wasn't that patient with children who didn't pay attention on his classes.
But, he knew. He was doing something
important, something useful.
And most of all, he knew that his lovely wife
and beautiful little Gwenny were waiting for him
at home.
Dana was amazing at kitchen.
Jack loved everything she made.
One happy family they were.
Like every morning, Jack would go to work,
and Dana would make a breakfast and some coffee to wake them up.
Morning coffee was something wonderful
for both of them.
After having breakfast, Jack would drink coffee
with Dana, looking at her with the same gentle
and passionate Amore that never fades.
"I'll see te later, darling." - Jack detto and
went to work.
Dana was still sitting and enjoying in the coffee,
watching through the window the sunlight.
She could smell the fiori that were growing
in the yard.

I lied
I lied to them and got caught
I confessed up and told them the truth
but they get più upset
I walk down the dark hallway
into my lonely empty room
I lie on my bed, thinking
I go to sposta and I can't
I fall down
pain shooting threw me
they walk in
saying I'm faking to make them feel bad
they walk out
leaving me on the ground
crying out in pain
I finally give up
crawl over to the closet
get the gun and cocked it
put it to my temple and pulled the trigger
life...filled with hate
I've chased down all my demons
but it wasn't enough
mistreated,misplaced,misunderstood.
I lied to them and got caught
I confessed up and told them the truth

I walk down the dark hallway

I keep my rhythm
I tap in time,
My Musica is my world
An angry beat inside.
It can crash like a waterfall
o gradually trickle down,
It can make te laugh and cry
That powerful sound.
My headphones on my head
The lyrics flowing though,
Filling up my brain
Musica is the Cibo I chew.
It can be beautiful, strange
Crazy and cool,
I couldn't live without music
There's a style to suit all.
Musica is like a brand new life
Jumping around your mind,
Each instrument that is played
Is an ingredient to find.
There's nothing quite like music
There's nothing quite like me,
te can always find a friend in music
Musica will always be.

The city of light was full of marchants and villagers. Elyon stood and gazed at them from the huge silver gate. And gurding the gate was two broad shouldered men, wearing bright white robes, that glowed from every angle.
"Excuse me?" the man with blonde hair asked. When Elyon took a shaky step forward, the men stared shocked at her.
"Elyon? What are te doing outside the city?" The man asked. Elyon took in a deep sharp breath and took another shaky step forward. She still hadnt noticed that the vilagers were watching silently.
"Elyon...my name is..?she smiled and fell into the darknes, fainted. The two gaurds rushed to her aid, and the vilagers erupted into a panicky uproar
"Quick take her to Lady Alexsis!" the man with darker ahir nodded, picked up Elyon and disapered.
"Leo? What the hell is going on? This is a bad sign," an old man closest to the alone guard asked.
"I dont know," he muttered looking up at the castello of light, "i really dont know,".

The pain te caused isn't what scarred me
The burning tears te left me to shed isn't what burned me
Your last words aren't what hindered me
It was the Legend.
That endless struggle to win
To fight back
To not toss and turn in my bed
That secure feeling I had before you
To feel as a sharp as a pencil lead
Now that loneliness I feel without you
A constant reminder
Feeling my cuore beat again
Done with the breathtaking moments
And the heart-skipping kisses
To breathe again
Over and Done with
It wasn't those tears
It wasn't those words
It wasn't all that pain te left me to bare.
It wasn't the legend te were when te were here
But the legacy in my cuore that te left!
