18: Home

The giorno was nearly over, da now they had reached their destination: Springfield, Illinois. Several times the carriage had stopped, Tristan leaving for short periods of time, always returning silent, the carriage marched on. He had retired when they were almost in Illinois, coming upon the border between Iowa and Illinois. David had remained with Jack and Rosalie, though he kept to himself, For Whom the campana, bell Tolls had been replaced with A Tale of Two Cities. Eventually though he too went to his room, leaving Jack and Rosalie alone.
They were on the couch, Rosalie’s head on Jack’s chest, right where his cuore should have been beating. It was comforting-laying like this she felt like she was home. She couldn’t even begin to recall the numerous times they had been like this-entwined in each other, feeling his body under hers, listening to his steady breathing, the pulsing of his heart. It was in these times when she could be inhibited and carefree, whether she wanted to laugh hysterically, cry and have fits; she knew she could do so there with no judgment. There, where the sun beat down upon them, the erba younger than them, the ocean in front of them centuries older. There, where there was no eyes watching, no lips gossiping. There, where they could Amore without restrictions.
There, where they could be free.
She turned her head ever so slightly so she could see his face. His eyes were open, looking up at the ceiling; a crease in his eyebrows told her that he was thinking very hard about something-something he did not like at all.
“What?” she asked him. “What’s wrong?”
Silence answered her at first. She heard him take a breath before he detto “I think we should wait.” She turned the words in her mind, sitting up on him, looking at him.
“Wait? What are te talking about?”
“Wait until you’re healed. Emotionally, I mean.”
She climbed off him, standing, her arms crossed over her chest, looking down at him. “I’m fine. And once we’re mortal and married I’ll be perfect.”
He sighed and stood as well, though she simply turned her head up to see his face. “You may think you’re fine now, but what happens when we’re human again? When we feel all the human emotions again? mostra them again?”
She looked at him, her eyes narrowed in dangerous slits that made him back away. “I know what I want. Grieve? Been there, done that. The only time I needed to grieve was when I Lost you-and that hadn’t stopped until I saw te again. Yes, part of me hurts for what I’ve Lost and despite the years Emmett…” Her sentence was cut short but a loud snarl from Jack. She looked at him, a bemused and slightly unnerved smile on her lips. “And I had, it paled in comparison to what we had, no matter how brief it may have been. I’ll take whatever pain comes but you’re worth it.”
He rolled his eyes at her bravado, wanting nothing più than to grab her and shake her, hoping it would jar her out of this place she was in. “I Amore you, Rosalie Lillian Hale and because I do, I’m going to promise the following to you: marry you, father your children, protect you, Amore you, cherish you, but I still think te need to grieve first.”
She scowled at him. “Did te hear anything I said?”
“Yes. Did te hear anything I said?”
“Yes.”
“Isn’t that what te want?”
“Yes-with te and più than anything.”
“Fine. Then do as I ask and I will be your slave.”
She stepped closer to him, her eyes wider now and somehow even più dangerous. “You want me to grieve? To get over my loss?”
“Yes, più than anything” he practically whispered.
She smirked and kissed him gently, pulling him on the couch, so he was over her. He instantly stopped, making her sigh. “You’re impossible.”
“No Rose te are. I tell te to grieve and te seduce me?”
She shrugged and he just looked at her. “I’m sorry” she finally said, looking at him. He looked at her and sighed, his head falling to his chest. “What?”
“When did everything get so damn complicated? Remember when we were younger and everything was so much simpler. Well, simpler than it is now.”
She nodded her head wistfully saying “yes, I know what te mean. It was a far easier time than where we stand now.”
“It wasn’t just the time; it was the way we were around each other. Well, once but…”
“Jack, I know I will feel pain for what I have Lost but I will be ok. I can’t wait to marry you, can’t wait to have our first child growing inside me. I know this is right. te do too. Maybe te can’t see it but the only time I feel sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza and complete is when I’m with you. Being with te feels good. Home”
He looked at her, his body was reacting in a strange way to the way she had detto our child…It wasn’t necessarily a bad feeling but it was definitely different. And he liked it. He cocked his head, looking at her still. “First child?”
She smiled. “Did te really think I wanted to stop at one?”
He took a breath and sighed though once again from euphoria, not pain. Not even in his wildest dreams-and they got beyond wild at many points-had he thought that this conversation would happen, that Rosalie would be so close that he could touch her. She looked at him, again worried. “I’m fine…Just can’t believe this is real.”
“I know. Surreal.”
He chuckled and gently kissed her, pressing her body closer to his. “Now who’s seducing who?”
He laughed again. “Oh this isn’t seducing.” She smiled and kissed him once più before she lay back on him, her head going right back to its original position. She felt his body relax, one arm weaving through her hair, the other holding her hand tightly. Yes, this was home.
“Rose?”
“What?”
“Let’s just start with one and maybe work our way up.”
She laughed. “You say that now.”
He kissed the superiore, in alto of her hair and she closed her eyes. “Never leave me” she whispered.
“Never ever.” He sealed the promise with a deep, passionate baciare that made time stand still and the angeli in heaven looked down and cheered.

Chapter [#2]

Narrators POV

An old man in a mantello walked into the neighborhood in which Olivia lived. Everyone stared at him as he walked around.

Olivia's POV

I smiled brightly as I dived into the ocean, "wait up!!!" Oliver laughed as my five brothers ran after me with surfboards, buggy boards, buckets for picking up sea shells, and dad brought out our special maid sandcastle buckets. They were big and made the best structures ever!!! Plus our family is known for our sand castles/structures. I smiled and dived down, feeling the salty cold water against my skin, it's the best feeling ever. When...

I walked for so long, looking for something, not knowing what that someone thing actually was. The sky bleeding with an arancia, arancio sunset as the sun moved ever so slowly below the horizon. I stopped in my tracks ans stared for a moment, than went back to searching for my mystery object. This was a great time to take in the woods which have always scared me. It wasn't bad walking through them. everything was arancia, arancio from the ending of summer. It was like walking in those stories te always hear about. Just then, a soft rustle in the bushes interrupted my thoughts. Not knowing...

Chapter One

My alarm went off at 7:00 on the morning February 8th, 2017. I reluctantly sat up on the edge of my letto and yawned.

"Morning." I heard a voice say. My eyes were still closed.

"Luna?" I mumble. "That you?"

"Yep." I open my eyes to see Luna Middleton standing three feet diagonal from me.

I shared a room with her, her twin sister Kyla, and my brother Jacob. That's how everyone does here. te live with your twin and your SIDA partner.

"So, sleepy head." she smirked. "You gonna get up o what? If not, I'll eat your breakfast for you."

I don't reply and shake my head.

"Oh, come on!" Luna...

Prologue
The wind was howling like Lupi in the night, and Will sat shivering in his post. The torretta on which he sat overlooked a tall rock ledge that sloped into the ocean.
“Why do I get this bloody post.” he detto to himself. The air was so cold up there that it sank right into your bones. Even though Will had dressed as warmly as he could with a thick woolen cloak, he could still feel the icy fingers creeping up his back. The fuoco in the brazier barely helped either.
“Nothing as always.” he detto as he looked out to the edge of the sea. He had taken to talking to himself when he...

Chapter Five

Mason met Olivia at his preferito restaurant. It was a perfect giorno for a cena date. The sun was shinny, the clouds were extra white, and the erba seemed greener then ever. If only she knew that this was a cena date. He signed the last autograph for today as Olivia sat across from him at their round table. Her hair was curly and in a ponytail. Then she wore a red dress with a thick, black cintura in the middle. His secondo impression of her was still the same, gorgeous. This data was going pretty well but Cassidy dresses better. Mainly because Cassidy is rich but he didn't want to...

Chapter Four

Olivia was extra busy today. Today was the first giorno of the movie shoot for Hourglass. Before they could even start recording the movie, the would have to check up on everything. The wardrobe had to perfect. The scenes had to be accurately planned out. Then they had to make sure that all of the camera crew was positioned. Olivia wouldn't be able to receive the permits until tomorrow. So they couldn't start filming until then. She followed closely behind Mason as he did the daily check up.

Mason went straight towards wardrobe and the outfit choices. The outfit for Charlotte's arrival...

Remembering is just an invention of the mind,
So te need not try to remember something,
te remember it automatically.
Which is the best thing that te could have.

The good times that we had...
It is placed in a portion of your mind.
The bad times that we had...
It is placed in the other part of your mind.

te try to forget all of the bad things that happened,
But it is not possible.
It is stuck in you.
The bad things are painted in ink on your heart.

The good things, te try to remember.
And they stay.
They never go.
Never leave you.

Remembering is just an invention of the mind.
And, well...I guess I'm happy for that.
So I can remember every friend I've had,
Every boyfriend,
And all the good times.
Every memory will never leave my heart.
They will never be forsaken.
Never.

*Poem I wrote for a class project on the holocaust.
DON'T COPY*
Different in ways they couldn't control
Killed for reasons we do not know
Ranging from ages young to old
The innocent people were taken from homes
Soulless people did not care
That the Jewish were in despair
Concentration camps ending their screams
Breaking apart their families
Not once did they do anything wrong
They opened their mouths and sang a sad song
Years went da and più pain came
Until on one very special day
As one we all saved
The survivors of the Holocaust
Stan, the young donkey, was wandering sadly around the barn. He seemed hopeless and wounded and had no desire to speak to any of his fellow donkeys; even talking to his father was not appealing to him that exact moment. In fact, he was feeling ashamed of having a donkey father. He was ashamed of being a donkey altogether.
As the moon and stars scattered across the dark, blue sky, Stan decided he no longer to wander. He needed some solution, he needed reassurance, and only his grandfather seemed appropriate for that particular job.
Grandpa Roger was sleeping peacefully in the barn. He had become...

Bane’s POV

I laid in the grass, watching the clouds. I was beginning to dose off, right before sleep took me, a body pounced on me. I groaned, and looked up. A shaggy haired boy was sitting on my chest, giggling. My best friend, Christian.
“Get off!” I yelled rolling over. He slid off me.
“Party pooper,” Christian stuck his tongue out at me. He was so childlike, but that was something I had always loved about him. That’s also why we got along so well. He was hyperactive and loud, while I was cynical and quite.

Jason Card sat at his scrivania, reception in his science classroom bored out of his mind. He hated science. It was his least preferito subject. Mainly because it was the last subject of the giorno and da that time Jason was usually ready to go home.
Mr. Form droned on and on about chemicals o something. Jason didn’t listen. He just sat at his scrivania, reception and drew on some paper. He was a very good drawer.
Jason Card was a fourteen anno old as of yesterday. His black messy hair never gave in to a brush which usually meant it was mangled and messy and went down to his ears. He was wearing a simple red t-shirt...

How to Add Emotion to a Story

1.    Understand parole chiavi o Key Phrases. Key Phrases are phrases in a story that triggers the waterworks. They are sentences that make people cry. Such as, a pet dies. te could write, "Goodbye, Old friend." A Key Phrase could also be an action. Such as, there are two pets. One pet dies. The other pet tries to sleep with the other one da cuddling up to the dead body.

2.    Add a lot of relationship between the one who dies and another character, whether that is a human o an animal.

3.    Add comedy to the...

*Sigh* Okay, this is the first piece of Scrivere I will ever share with anyone. Rarely does the idea of a poem ever enter my dark mind. But tonight, just two minuti ago, this one came to me, and I had to...write...it...down...

I’m aching here
I’m bleeding there

Pain strikes within
My every move

And there’s
Nothing
I Can
Do
To Make It
Stop

The tears roll down my face
And freeze there quickly
And stay until the time comes
Where they are no longer frozen
And begin to stream down again

My hurt was bottled up
But someone broke the bottle
And now it’s
Everywhere
And there’s nothing
I Can
Do
To Heal Myself

I’m...

ciao guys! I just wrote this poem. I haven't written a poem in quite a while, maybe a year, and this one's an attempt to get back on the poem Scrivere path. Well hope te like it, and please, if possible, add a commento saying what te think.

Me and Those

Ever noticed that in this life
Everyone wants te to do something,
o be something
That sometimes te don’t want to be?

They are those!
te know them!
te probably have those in your house.
They are those who expect te to take a path,
Even though,
Sometimes,
te don’t want to take.

They are those who expect te to be great,
Even though,
Sometimes,
te prefer to be small and humble.

But do te think,
For the slightest second,
That they care about that?
They don’t!

They are your parents,
Your grandparents,
Your Uncles and aunts,
That since te were born,
Came up with a path for te in life.

But know this,
And say it to yourself:
They are those, they matter,
But me is I,
And I’m the main character.

I glance at the clock in the waiting room. It's past midnight. Wow. Jamie and Ashleigh are asleep on a small green couch, with a receiving blanket draped over them. I pick them both up, since Kayla and I are free to leave, and we all walk outside to my car. On Friday, Tia had picked me up to go shopping.

Tia was ecstatic; for what reason, I had no idea. Tia was like a hurricane, she jotted down my sizes on her hand and then took of through the store at a pace that should've set her path on fire.

"You look great in black, white, and blue," she muttered. I saved that for future reference; she obviously knew what she was doing. Plus I'd been told that each of those colours looked nice on me before.

She pulled me into a dressing room, pointed out which outfits to try out, and exited to let me change.

I pulled a scary-looking black capestro, cavezza neck...
