Young Justice Article: Cat and Dusk Chapter 6

I listened in silence as I heard what they were doing. They are now known to me as the Shadows. The Shadows were creating a weapon più powerful then five nuclear bombs. They planned to shoot the Watch Tower and the Metro tower with it to get rid of the justice league and ultimately destroy the world.
“Team, your mission is to locate the bomb. Do not try to destroy it and do not engage the enemy. Once te have found the bomb, contact the league” Batman instructed
“Wow, your first mission is a hide and seek one. Lucky” Robin whispered in my ear. I ignored him. They all started walking down a hall and me and Cat followed. We entered a huge room where a red egg shaped thing sat. Megan put out her hand and it turned into a ship. Cat and I both gasped. We walked in behind the team. Eight seats popped up. Everyone sat. Two were left: One beside Kid Flash and one beside Robin.
“Thalia, te sit beside Robin. Cat, successivo to Wally” Megan instructed. I walked over and sat down. Straps emerged from the seats like sede, sedile belts. I sat in silence as Megan started up the ship. I brought out a small black compact and checked my face designs. They still looked fine.
“You know, te could’ve just asked me how they looked. I fine with looking at your face” Robin smiled. I looked over at him
“Really? I usually hide it from people, and not because I think I’m ugly” I said
“Then why hide it?” Robin asked
“Because I’m scared people might recognize it” I murmured
“Recognize it from what?” he asked
“Uh… I’m scared my enemy’s might see me at school and attack me there” I detto quickly
“Reasonable. Hey, te never answered me in the lounge. What type of Musica do te like?” he asked
“Rock, heavy metal and a bit of Beethoven. Why?” I replied
“You can tell a lot about someone da the Musica they listen to” he smiled
“What can te tell about me?” I asked
“That’s hard. Those are odd combinations” he looked puzzled.
“I’m an odd girl” I pushed my hair behind my ear.
“Hey, chatter boxes! It’s time to land!” Kid Flash called. I had just realized I had a full conversation with a real person.
“We’re coming!” Robin sighed. We got up and our sede, sedile disappeared. A bunch of lines came down from the ceiling. Kid Flash clicked the emblem on his chest and his whole suit turned black. Aqualad did the same and had the some result. Miss. Martian just closed her eyes and her whole uniform turned dark. Everyone except me grabbed a line and hooked onto it.
“Don’t te need one?” Megan asked
“Nope” I half smiled.

I paced around the room, ignoring the team's confused looks and Batman's tapping on the computer.
Lian was on my mind the whole time. I couldn't orso to think that something bad had happened to her.
I looked at Batman, who was staring at a map on the computer screen. He kept zooming in and out, not able to find anything.

I dumped my bag on the couch, and ignored Megan's confused expression.
"What are te doing?" she inquired as I sat down successivo to her.

I could feel so much as just one burn. It singed my back, where my Airbending tatoos were located. Everything around me was white; like I was glued to a blank piece of paper.

A cloudy mist formed over Gotham Harbor, making it nearly impossible to see if not for my supervision.
