“I can't believe this is your preferito movie,” Artemis grumbled as Megan inserted The Notebook into the DVD player.
“It's a good movie!”
“Don't worry Artemis; you'll movie will play next,” Becca informed.
“Yay.”
The three girls watched their Film for the successivo three hours before turning the T.V off.
“Now what?” Megan asked.
“Now te turn around,” Artemis said.
With Megan's back to her, Artemis began to braid the firey red hair. Becca joined in da putting Artemis' hair down and brushing it out.
“Your hair's really long Artemis,” she commented.
“I've been wanting to cut it for awhile.”
“How short?”
“Mid-back.”
“I like it long. Don't cut it.”
“Yes mother.”
Becca tugged her friend's hair playfully before going back to her task. She mumbled something under her breath and Artemis felt a small tug. Followed da more. She tied off Megan's braid and Becca announced her “doll” as finished.
“Oh Artemis! Becca how'd te do that?”
“My mom taught me. It's a simple crunch technique she used if she wanted to shorten her hair without cutting it. Plus, it always make hair look curly and new.”
Artemis looked in the mirror.
“Will te do this for tomorrow?” she asked.
“Of course! And I can do a little something with Megan's hair too.”
“Yay!” Megan exclaimed.
“I think we should go to bed,” Artemis detto on a yawn.
The other two nodded. They slipped into Megan's bed, the martian in the middle. Artemis and Megan were facing each other while Becca had her arms wrapped around Megan tightly. When the other two fell asleep, Becca took the chance to whisper into Megan's ear.
“I won't let anything happen to your family. Not like what happened to mine; it won't happen. I promise Megan.”

“Woah!”
Wally's exclamation caught everyone's attention and looked in the hall. All morning preparations froze. Megan, Becca, and Artemis walked into the room. Megan was wearing her new dress and Becca had french braided two portions from behind Megan's ears and crisscrossing them over her hair like a head band. Artemis was wearing her new outfit, blonde hair looking curled and only reaching her shoulders. Becca, wearing her new outfit, had pulled her hair into a bun on the back of her head, a few strands hanging loose da her face. They stopped inside the doorway, posing dramatically.
“What do te think?” Artemis asked.
“Can I just say I'm utterly whelmed?” Robin answered.
Becca laughed.
“Yes te can. te like it?”
“Yeah. It looks good.”
Robin eyed Becca up and down.
“Real good.”
Becca hugged him, laughing when he swung her around. Artemis looked at Wally, who was staring.
“What? Cat got your tongue?” Artemis teased.
“No. But I think Cupid was here.”
Artemis looked flustered da the announcement and smiled.
“You look beautiful,” Connor said, wrapping an arm around Megan's waist.
The martian girl blushed.
“Thanks.”
She looked up and noticed that, wearing the heels, their lips were only a few centimeters apart. I might have to start wearing these shoes più often, Megan thought as she kissed her boyfriend. All three girls smiled devilishly when Cassie gave them cold stares. Becca pulled her Friends away, grabbing Cassie's hand as well.
“We'll be right back!” she shouted.
Becca led them outside of the mountain.
Cassie stared at them, eyes narrowing.
“You did this on purpose,” she accused.
“Duh! Stupid,” Becca mumbled.
“I was going to only get Connor, but now I think I'll drive all three of te mad. I'll get all your boyfriends. Especially Robin!”
“And Kaldur too?” Becca taunted.
Her eyes watered when a hand slapped her cheek. She touched the stinging flesh, hurt written on her features. Cassie smirked.
“Are te okay?!” Megan asked.
“No. That really hurt.”
“Oooo! That girl is dead,” Artemis grumbled. “This means war!”
