WARNING: SLASH!!! One-shot! XD
Rain poured hard on October 23rd. Winds blew harshly. Things were slamming against the bullet proof windows. Thunder rang out like a loud rumbling giant about to eat. If te were to count the secondi between the frequent lightning and loud thunder, te would know the storm was only a mile away. But Happy Harbor was a baia port. Which means a hurricane could start at any minute. No one was allowed to leave. No one was going to leave. The winds were already tearing trees out of their roots and picking up sped every minute. It was far too dangerous.
Wally couldn't help but worry. The storm was so close and no one had been evacuated because of it. But that wasn't why he was worried. The minuto Robin exited the room, everyone could tell something was off. He had been dressed in civies. But his normal green hoodie had been replaced with a black t-shirt. And his blue skinny jeans had been traded in for black ones. He hadn't even bothered to fix his hair, just allowed it to fall messily into his face. And he was wearing his sunglasses. Ever since the team had found out his secret identity, Robin had disregarded the shades. But today they were placed firmly on his face. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and he shuffled around silently, not even bothering to pay attention to anyone else. It was like Robin had been replaced.
So Wally was freaking out a little. After all, his boyfriend had never acted this way. Never. At least not to this extreme. And when Robin had been recitazione this way, there was always a reason; mostly some fight with Batman but that didn't matter. Not compared to today’s attitude. After he was finished eating (which wasn't a lot even for Robin), Dick had gone straight back to his room, shutting the door. Which meant he was forbidding entrance. Of course Wally didn't listen to rules. When noon had come with no Robin, Wally had become tense. When three had approached, Wally was frantic. When five had come and gone, Wally was determined. He knocked lightly on Dick's door. No answer. So he opened it a little. He could here Musica flood from Dick's iPod. I find the gun on the ground, cock it. Put it to my brain, scream 'DIE SHADY' and pop it.
“Dick?”
Wally was scared now. Robin was ultimately depressed. And, as Wally heard the song continue, his fear grew. He rushed over to the bed. Dick was curled in a little ball. The Batmna teddy orso Wally had got Dick for Natale was held against his chest. His iPod lay nearby. Wally could tell Dick was awake da the steady tears that slid from underneath the famous sunglasses. Wally climbed onto the bed, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend. Robin immediately fell against him, reaching to turn off the music. Slidding the earbuds out, Dick turned so he could look at Wally.
“Dick what's wrong?”
Asking if he was okay would be a stupid domanda and Wally wasn't in the mood to be stupid.
“Today's the day,” he whispered.
Wally slid the sunglasses off. He read the pain and suffering in Dick's eyes. He pulled his bird closer, touching their foreheads together.
“Today's the giorno they...” Dick swallowed the rest of his words, denying anymore tears the approval of falling.
“The giorno they...uh....left,” Wally finished.
Dick nodded his head, trying to regain control. Being weak was against the Batcode. And a sign of humanity. As a super protege, Batman forbid Robin to mostra mercy o compassion. At least not to the villains. But Wally was no villain, no demon. In fact he was quite the opposite. Wally was a hero, an Angel at best. Wally was everything.
“Do te want to talk about it?” Wally asked. “Can I do anything for you?”
“Just hold me.”
Wally did as ordered. He enclosed his little bird in his arms, capturing the acrobat's legs between his own. He kept them close and the heat from their bodies kept them warm. In response, Dick wrapped an arm around Wally's neck. The other arm held his orso close.
“The others are pretty worried about you,” Wally informed.
“I'm sorry. I just can't be who they want me to be. I'm not the strongest. I'm not the fastest. I'm not the most respectful. I'm not the happiest. I don't have perfect aim. I'm just not.”
“Who's asking te to be? So te could be stronger; we have Connor. So te aren't the fastest; I'm not the smartest on the block. And who cares if you're rude; Kaldur makes up for it. No body wants te to have perfect aim; Artemis nailed it. te are who te are. Sure, te can be childish and annoying, nocturnal, impish, and so very good at hiding. But you're also the most dedicated, loyal, smartest Bat brat around. And I wouldn't want te any other way.”
Wally smiled into Dick's wide eyes. The tears had stopped and he was now processing everything Wally had just told him. Wally could practically see the wheels turn in that beautifully devious brain that lived in Dick's perfect, ebony-covered head. Those breathtaking blue eyes sparked to life and Wally hapily returned the passionate baciare he received. Dick pulled away, still looking at Wally.
“Wally, you're my hero,” Dick announced. In a softer, tender voice he added, “I Amore you.”
Wally smiled lovingly, stroking Dick's cheek with his thumb.
“I Amore te too Dick. I Amore te più than the stars in the sky. And I want te to remember this day. And know I'll always be here for you.”
“As long as te remember how much te mean to me. Because I would rather die than live without you, Wally.”
“No fear of that. It ain't gonna happen. From now until forever, te have my heart, Dick.”
“And te have mine.”

Revenge watched. The Shadow placed something in the drawer and began to close it.
Revenge jumped down and kicked him in the face. The shadow fell to the ground. Revenge pinned him before opening the drawer. The body was disintegrated, an acid ate through the flesh, muscles, bones, everything. Revenge collected a sample before he saw the grenade.
It was a timed grenade. And the timer indicated ten secondi before detonation.
"Shit!"

Revenge stumbled away. The woman looked at the needle in her hand. The blood within was mixed with a strange brown mixture. Revenge gripped his arm and glared at the woman.
"A simple test will tell me who is beneath the mask, Red Revenge. And your secret will belong to me."
"Not likely." Revenge growled.
"Oh, but that's not all it does." she continued. "It poisons the blood stream. Corrupts the DNA within cells and eventually kills them."
"Nerve gas."
"In a liquid form, yes Red Revenge."
