“I don’t know, Artemis. It’s just not my style…” I started away
“I didn’t want to half to do this, but te leave me no choice” she took a deep breath “If te don’t stay, I will tell Wally the real reason te left is because te are hopelessly in Amore with him and te couldn’t bare the thought of seeing him get hurt on a mission” I stopped dead in my tracks.
“You wouldn’t” I said, turning back to her.
“I would” she nodded
“You’re bluffing” I smirked
“Oh really?” she asked with a smirk “Wally!” she yelled loudly. He came running.
“What?!” he demanded
“Vixen here told me the real reason she’s leaving and wants me to tell te before she leaves” Artemis smirked. My face paled to dangerous levels.
“And what would that be?” he asked, intrigued
“Well, She’s-“ I lunged at her and covered her mouth with my hand.
‘Fine! I’ll stay! Just do NOT say anything about the “real reason” I was going to leave. Ever’ I detto mentally. She nodded.
“Never mind” Artemis said, but it came out più like “Mever snide” Wally raised an eyebrow.
“No, now I want to know!” he complained
“The real reason I’m leaving is that I forgot someone I loved” I said, quickly realizing that it was the truth.
“Who?” he asked
“And will te be back?” Artemis added, a gleam in her grey eyes.
“None of your business, and yeah. I haven’t forgotten out deal” I sighed
“What deal?” Wally asked
“Oh, nothing” Artemis detto slyly
“We’re not supposed to keep secrets from one another” Wally pointed out
“Wally, some things are better left secrets” I detto quietly
“Like what?” he asked
“Who I’m going to get, our deal, my identity” I listed
Wally sighed. “Fine” he grumbled. The two walked away. I thought about where I was going for a second.
“Wait! I may, possibly, need your assistance” I called. They both stopped. Wally looked at me like I had grown a tail. I quickly checked to see that I hadn’t.
“Where exactly are te going to get this person?” he asked, coming closer.
“Infinity Island. And, it’s not exactly someone. It’s più like something. Or, a few something’s about a few someone’s” I explained quietly
“I’ll get the team-“
“No! The più people we have, the harder it will be to get in” I detto quickly

The comic book store exploded, throwing Wally and Artemis into the street. Torn pieces of paper and rubble from the store rained down around them.

"You okay?" Wally asked, getting off of Artemis.

"I'm fine. You?" Artemis replied, standing up.

"Good- ow!" Wally picked a piece of debris out of his back.

Crowds were gathering around the former store. People were running everywhere. It was a very chaotic scene.

"Cover me!" Wally said, ducking in an alley. Before Artemis could inquire anything, Kid Flash zoomed back.

"Artemis, checking in. All clear up here." Artemis radioed in. The rest of the Team radioed in their positions and status'.

The Team had spread out along the strada, via the parade was taking place. Their was roughly one superhero every block. Artemis was the closest to the action. Her bow notched and ready, her watchful eye over the garrisons of policemen and women below her spot on Town Hall.

Aqualad was near the park where a pond conveniently located.
