I wrote this awhile fa when I was feeling sad. But when I read it now, I think it's an awesome one-shot. So I hope te enjoy!

Robin moved around in his room. He looked at all the pictures and charms he had. The ones that reminded him of her. Becca Stevens. His love. Fresh tears came to his eyes and new pain arose in his heart. He fingered the collana she had always worn. The black choker with a charm; a blue bird with wings extended. She had always called it her NightWing. Had always detto how it reminded her of him. Now it was a way of remembering her. Ever since they'd been dato the news.

Flash Back

“As much as we regret to inform you,” Batman told the team, “we have decided it's time Becca sposta on. Away from her team and away from this one.”
All faces were stunned, Becca's registering pain as well.
“Why?” she whimpered.
“We appreciate all te do Becca. But te have become too much of a threat and danger to the teams. We have no choice but to remove you.”
Becca had simply nodded, too hurt to say anything else.
“What?! Batman...you can't do that!”
The Dark Knight looked at his ward and protege. Very few stood against him and it had never been Robin. Batman could understand that his son loved Becca dearly. Another reason to remove her; she was a distraction.
“My decision is final. Becca Stevens leaves in the morning.”
Robin was about to protest when Becca placed a hand on his shoulder. Her eyes told him to let it go even as he knew it was breaking her heart...

End Flash Back

Robin cried as he brought another emblem close; her beloved escrim sticks. She had dato them to him as protection. Probably più for herself than anyone. Her ring had been hanging from her neck; the ring he had dato her. But he knew she had taken the chip out. He had already tried locating her. With his breaking heart, Robin didn't feel like doing anything. He ignored everyone, including his former mentor. Robin had shut them all out after Batman had decided to “disown” him so to speak. Nothing went past him that he didn't know about. But people and comfort were no help. So he had driven himself into a schedule of fighting, training, and surviving. He felt there was no time for anything else. Except at night when all he could do was think of her.

Years Later

He sighed deeply to himself as he climbed into bed. Another eventful giorno in crime popolare Gotham City. He had always hated living in the Batman's shadow. He had always wanted to be the Batman. But things had changed. He was never going to be the Batman. He sighed again, this time pleased he was known being called NightWing. Robin was still close to his heart, but Dick felt like the name Robin was just another thing that landed him back in that shadow. A knock sounded at his door. It wasn't that late and it could be Wally. Despite becoming a new hero and leaving Young Justice, the two had still been friends. Dick went to the door, glad he was still wearing his pants, and opened the door. What stood outside stunned him.
“Hi Dick.”
Her voice was soft, a welcome memory to his heart. A happy song to his ears. She stood in the doorway, eyes as brown as ever and her hair still the same red and black he had known. Just darker. Like her skin. Her lips were full and red. She was all grown up. And she was back in his life.
“May I come in?” she asked.
Dick nodded, too stunned to speak. She stepped inside and looked around while he shut the door.
“Becca...”
He couldn't speak. His cuore was in his throat and tears blurred his eyes. Her own were washed in tears and she stood as close as she dared. He pulled her close and into his arms, aching to feel. He hoped to hell this was real and not some kind of practical joke.
“Dick...I missed te so much...!”
“Becca...I can't-how'd you...you're here.”
She smiled her warm smile.
“Yes. Just like I promised. I told you. I will always return.”
He couldn't wait any more. He brought his lips to greedily baciare her. She responded instantly, just like she always had. But this baciare had più fire, più passion, più love. None of their other kisses had been this intense. But they also hadn't waited nine years for it to happen. They broke for air and moved to the couch.
“Becca...I missed you. Never...”
“I won't. I'll never leave again.”
Dick smiled as he moved towards those tempting lips.
“Promise?”
“Promise, my love. Never again.”

This never happened. Just for one-shot purposes!

Proven part III
The silence was a thick presence in the air, one that was suffocating me. Nic broke it.
"Where have te been?" he asked.
"Around," I said, "I've been trying to keep low since Cadmus."
"Did te get the Weapon?" Alek asked eagerly, "Do te have it with te know?" He looked at my backpack as if he actually expected I was lugging it around. I thought over my words carefully before answering.
"The Weapon is in a secure location," I said. Not a lie, just not the full truth.
"A secure location?" Jasper repeated. I nodded, then noticed the flashing screen of the laptop out of the corner...

“Now how'd te snag that?” Willow asked, looking at her sister.
Willow had gone to her room after arriving several hours before but had heard the others go out minuti ago. Becca was sitting on the couch, a bowl of Cioccolato ice cream in her hands.
“Robin,” Becca detto simply, patting the sede, sedile successivo to her.
Willow shook her head.
“I need to eat something.”
“There's ice cream in the freezer,” Becca called.
Willow opened it, looking through the appliance.
“I don't see it,” Willow called back.
“Really?”
Becca came over, looking over her sister's shoulder.
“Hmm. Don't worry. I'll...

Becca hit the bacheca hard, her head hurting. She felt his lips against hers, a hand trailing down her thigh. Just like yesterday, Becca had been ordered to dress in a too revealing skin-tight dress. But this one was a dark purple, so dark it was almost black. And she wasn't allowed to wear her boots. She moved to push him away, but Salva pinned her hands down with one hand. He had put a leg in between hers and Becca wanted to fight back. But one thought kept her from lashing out with everything she had. Robin. He may not Amore you, but te Amore him. te can't let him die.
Tears flooded her eyes...

“No way! Cassie was lying!”
Artemis growled in anger. She had been scanning the security cameras (she'd seen Robin hack them a few dozen times) and was disturbed da what she saw. And now that she thought about it, Cassie had been attempting to get the Superboy's attention. And Artemis was mad!
“I can't believe this! Becca, you've got good senses.”
Artemis walked down the halls, trying to find the others. She eventually found them sitting in the living room. The guys were listening to Cassie talk while Megan baked in the kitchen. Becca sat at the counter, silently fuming. Artemis joined...

I sat in my spot on the bio ship and relaxed. My arm felt numb from pain and I was super tired. I closed my eyes, only wanting to sleep for five minutes. I opened my eyes at 3:00 in the after noon. I had slept for two hours. I looked out the window and saw Mount Justice quickly approaching in the distance. I looked at my arm. Megan’s cape was now reddish purple instead of blue. I pulled it off and looked at the wound. I was lucky. The javelin didn’t go all the way through and it was off center. If it was centered and went all the way through, I would have a broken arm and a huge gash. I...
