Amara had più important things to do. Like reason with her daughter. o find her mate. o bother the Justice League o Young Justice. o just piss nightwing and the bat off. That was always fun to. In fact messing up Gothem in a obvious way but not letting them catch her was just plan fun. Batman hated being played with. Maybe thats why he hated Charm so much.
But an ora trying to reason with her daughter that she was NOT cheating on Charm was futile the girl did everything. She yelled from behind a door, she back talked her when she was around (and Amara would never hit her daughter), and played her Musica so loud that Amara had to leave their apartment. And now she was listening to Charm's cartel men talk about profits and problem that she didn't care about. She idly twisted the ring around her finger.
"Amara wait I need to ask te something." Charm called out. "Hm?Okay ask" she smiled "Alone with out small prying ears" Charm sent a side ways look to the door. "okay give me a sec" she dailed a number "Shade? No Robin put Shade on the phone. I know she's there so hurry up and give her the phone. yeah sure I'm a physic. Uh huh Shade? Can te watch Bonnie for me. Charm wants to ask me something. I doubt it. Because he's Charm! No I don't think he will! What would I say about it? I guess you'll have to wait" she hung up and Charm raised and eye brow. When Bonnie was gone and with Shade (and probably Robin) Charm took Amara to a restaurant and got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. She detto yes. And then not 2 months later he was M.I.A
She had her feet propped up on the scrivania, reception and was twisting the blue ring around her finger. One of the drug men that worked under her opened the door letting a new recruit through. "A new one" she spoke for the first time. She wasn't stupid she protected her identity fixed over her mouth. "A woman we answer to a woman?" the younger male spoke. She narrowed her eyes. Standing the man took in her figure. The black medical mask over her face, white hair, blue eyes shinning with rage, a black strapless dress that showed her back. And black heeled boots. She strode towards him.
"And the problem is" she growled. "Woman should be in the kitchen" he smirked and she growled she hated that. Degrading her because she was a woman, because she had a child to raise and no man to help. te don't mess around with woman who will break your jaw. o ones that can pierce te through the through with ice o ripe out your tendons as a wolf. She reached into her scrivania, reception and pulled out a gun. It fit oddly in her hand even after all this time but she could use it. She put it under his jaw. "You listen to me o I'll through te out the window o maybe just hand te over to batman. And te know what I will hurt te a lot più than he will so don't test me I am not in the mood for te to degrade me" and then she punched him in the stomach and waved her hand. "Alright I'm leaving call in the cartel and pack up for the night I got a snitch telling me this warehouse it going to be searched soon so pack papers and utensils and the blow the fucking building up" she waved her hand before stepping onto the ledge and walking on it.
"that hurt' the new man grumbled. "Consider your self lucky boy the last time she was in a bad mood and someone back talked her like that she killed him cut his head clean off and shot to others in the head" a man replied. "Really?" he looked up. "uh huh" the Spanish one answered. "She use to travel with our old boss was his right hand I think they were together she wasn't as...scary back then. And then boss man went missing and she took his place" The spanish man told him.
"You think she killed him?" the newbie stood. "no I heard her talking to boss man once and she was complaining about this whole thing and now she's running it I think she misses boss man but whatever don't mess with her" the first man spoke. "Is she always in a bad mood?" the newbie spoke up. "5 years ago? No she use to be a fairly happy person around boss man. Now? It's either a bad mood o a bother her and she kills te mood" he shook his head. "Women" the newbie spoke.
When tundra arrived at the apartment she sat on the couch. Looking at a picture on the tavolo she hobbled over picking it up it was charm, her, and Bonnie. She ran her thumb over it. "Ever since te left we've been falling apart" she huffed her throat closing in as she struggled to breath hot tears burning her eyes. "is that why te cheated?" Bonnie spat out angrily. Amara sighed "are te going to listen to what I'm going to say?" Amara pushed her self away from the tavolo and strut into the kitchen.
Bonnie fallowed her because that's what she did. Amara pulled a pot down and searched through the cabinets. "Maybe" she crossed her arms. "i wasn't cheating on your father. I was trying to find him and ever since we last saw him I haven't gotten anything. The man I was with is helping me. I would never cheat on Charm. I couldn't bring myself to" she sighed dumping the la minestra, zuppa in the pot.
"How do I know your not lying?" she titled her head. "Would I be wearing this ring if I was?" Amara showed her hand. Bonnie's eyes lingered on the ring. Her mother was about pride and if she didn't Amore her father then she would have left the ring. When her mother dropped the hand she slid to her knees to. Just then and only then had Bonnie seen her mother like this. Even when Pa had gone missing and they had been forced to run her composure had remained tight. Now her mother was sobbing into her hands on her knees and she realized how broken she was.
How much she needed pa and how much her mother needed her to. She approached carefully before hugging her mother. She was brought into a embrace as well. The warm scent of her mom calming her as it always did. She was rocked back and forth as if she had broken down and Amara wasn't the one crying. "Mommy is...dad ever coming back to us?" she dared to ask. "I don't know baby I just don't know I can only hope and cerca and just pray he comes out of this trance" Amara sputtered. She felt Bonnie begin to cry the tears soaking her dress. "Does he still Amore us? If he could would he come back!?" Bonnie sobbed. "Yes baby he loves us. He knows, I know he knows it is the only thing that can break that damn spell. And when it breaks he'll come back and we'll throw a party and be a family again we'll be okay" Amara replied her cuore aching because she didn't know if she was lying to her daughter o telling the truth.
"How will Amore break it?" Bonnie was doubtful because her father was stubborn and that spell might be using that and her mother used brute force to win battles not love. "Because Amore is the thing that brought me and your father together that made me agree to keep te when we met you. it's what makes us human, it hurts us, heals us, and makes us happy. Because I Amore te and your father. We Amore your father and he loves us. And he will want to return and his is stubborn he gets what he wants he'll come back" Amara served cena and they ate. Bonnie stuck to her mother as they climbed into bed. Bonnie closed her eyes.
And wished upon a stella, star that her Amore spread far and wide and return Charm to them so her mother would laugh again.
