La Noire is such a great game. And I am not usually a fan of murder mystery, unless it's the occasional Law and Order episode.
Anyway.
Am I the only one who found this one of the games greatest villains?
I mean, First off he is a villain from the past. Everyone presumed he was gone. But he secretly murders every single victim of the homicide cases, and, after researching who he killed, then frames people who have much motives for wanting the victim dead, and made it seem like it was THEM..
However, Cole is the only one seeing a pattern with the messages on the, most times, striped naked victim.
Like most psychopaths I hear about in real life. Ted Bundy being an example, he targets woman. Not men.
Guess their easier targets.
Though. There's also the gay killer that I learned about, but that's anouther story..
Anyway. In the game, Cole notices poems the killer covered all over various places of town, most leading towards booby traps.
Eventually Cole and his assistant Rusty Gollaway, find Garrett inside a distorted old church, and he is impressed with Cole being the first cop smart enough to catch him, and while chasing after him in the tunnels, he further proves his insanity da all his crazy delusional statements.
Though also mentions Cole and him have something in common. Both looking for personal redemption (after Phelleps feels he failed as a leader joining the war).
Any way. In the end, the player shoots him dead, ending his rain of terror. Though Captain Donnelly dosen't want the world discovering that they arrested innocent suspects, and the truth of the case is never revealed..
What makes this interesting to me is.
From what I hear, many cases in the game are based one ones that were never solved in real life. So I find it easy to presume that there really was a GARRETT MASON out there once, but was never caught.. But that's just only my opinion..

Arthur: Maybe when your mother is finished mourning your father... I'll keep her in black, on your behalf.
#4:
Arthur: John made it. He's the only one. Rest of us... No.
#5:
Arthur: This whole thing is pretty much done. We're più ghosts than people.
#6:

Fellowship of the Ring was playing on tv.
I watched for the first time in nearly four years.
These Film are even better than I remember.
The expression "one ring to rule them all" really IS how it happened.
Rings seem to some sort of powers in their world.
And Mordor is basically "hell".
So it's a ring from hell.
And this ring is as powerful as they get. It can brainwash anyone, and I mean ANYONE. Due to it's impartiality, beauty, and well, anything really.
But what I like about it.
Just about everything about this movie, gives off sort of a creepy vib.
But I like that in movies, makes me più into it.
So yeah.
Amore IT!!

And during the game's final mission, "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed". Archor did not take part in Marston's murder.. So it's possible Fordham might not of been comfortable with killing John Marston, considering John did what they needed him to do.
That's all I got to say. I thought I'd have more.. But no.
What are your thoughts?
