Well since Harry was a horcrux, he possesed the "realtion" if te will to Slytherin himself. It is for that reason, that the sorting hat considered putting Harry in Slytherin rather than Gryffindor. I think that if Harry hadn't asked, he still would have been in Gryffindor. Dumbledoor stated that only a true Gryffindor could've pulled the sword from the sorting hat in the Chamber of Secrets. He also detto that it's our choices that make us who we are. I say Gryffindor all the way. Harry is the bravest person I know, it greatly outnumbers his likeness to Slytherin because of Voldemort's influence.
Hufflepuff ;) Nah, as much as I Amore Puffs, I don't think Harry's one. Anyhow, I reckon he'd still be a Gryffindor -- Jo was just using that situation to illustrate the whole "Our choices mostra who we truly are" thing.
Slytherin : Harry has strong Slytherin tendencies. The Sorting Hat detto he had it all in his mind. He is resourceful, determined and cunning when required. I loved the way he wrapped Horace Slughorn around his little finger in the 6th book ! And Slughorn is a Slytherin himself, which is saying something...
