IU is reported to be in the middle of working on a brand new album!

Fans will be excited to know that her album is currently being prepared.

A rep from IU's side stated on February 3, "Though it's true we're planning to announce a new album, it's too early to say when exactly. The tracks have not been sorted yet, but song composition will be ongoing."

IU hasn't released her own album since her third release 'Modern Times' in October of 2013, so this is good news for fan of the singer's music.

Media outlet MBN recently surveyed 144 currently active musicians to see what Musica they thought was the best in 2014. The artists they surveyed included Heo Gak, arancia, arancio Caramel, Jung Joon Young, GOT7, BTS, 4Minute,Roy Kim, Hello Venus, Beast, Sistar, Girl’s Day, B1A4, and more.

For best artist of the year, g.o.d received the most voti with 23 voti out of 144. secondo place was tied between four artists, who each received 10 votes: Seo Taiji, A Pink, Sistar, and Beast.
