Pinkie showed Derpy and Saten all over Ponyville, eventually they ended up at sweet mela, apple aches.

Derpy: Really? Not really something I'd look twice at. (looks at AJ again), No wait, never mind..

Saten: No I don't! (ends up chugging down the entire bottle of wine, much to AJ's shock).
Saten: (burbs).... What? I was thirty.
AJ: Look.. I'm sorry sugercube.. But Ah need ta sposta on, towards bigger, better, things.
Saten: ...... Like meth?
AJ: (annoyed) No. Not like me-
Saten: Want some?
AJ: No ah don't wan- WHY DO YA HAVE METH!?

When Fluttershy is first introduced in the series, she barely manages to tell Twilight Sparkle her name out of shyness, going so far as to be reduced to whimpering in fear. However, she becomes very conversational when she notices Spike the baby dragon, and implores him to tell her "everything" (which he does), all the way to Twilight's residence.

She is terrified of full grown Draghi and repeatedly freezes in place when she and her Friends go on an expedition to confront a dragon in Dragonshy. Twilight Sparkle encourages her and tells her that her understanding of animali will come in handy...

When applejack noticed that her mare friend saw that she wasn't doing well, she came over to AJ. "Um...you..sure te don't need my help?" "NO!" applejack yelled where every pony heard her. arcobaleno Dash felt embarrassed having her mare friend frustrated this way. "Here AJ, let me..." The Pegasus took Apple's club and placed it in the farmer's hooves. "I can do this on my own!!" She shouted at the pony trying to help her. At this moment all the other ponies stopped and watched as this was happening. A staff pony came up to applejack and said, " Miss, if te can't control your anger I will have to escort te off the course" da this time applejack had no patience for any pony telling her what to do.
