Kowalski: Ok... right step, then left... then right again... *Starts humming*
Learning the latest song that he heard on his portable radio, Kowalski is learning how to dance and sing to a salsa beat.
Kowalski: Now spin... *Slips* AHH!
Unluckily, Kowalski isn't the best dancer in the world. (At least he's trying!) XD
Kowalski: *Rubs head* I think I should put on a più classical piece.
He reaches for the dial of the old radio and switches it to channel 93.7 F.M, a channel that plays only classical melodies. Pachelbel's Canon begins to play, and Kowalski gets up, dusts himself off, and dances again.
Kowalski's Thoughts: This should be fairly easy if I keep a steady rhythm. 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2....
He closes his eyes and tries to feel the music, but even when dancing at a slow tempo such as this, Kowalski somehow manages to trip over the tavolo and land again on his head.
Kowalski: Ow! That's it! No più dancing, I-
Private: Kowalski...?
Kowalski sees that his lab door has been unlocked, and he bolts up, shoves the radio off the desk, and tries to look innocent.
Kowalski: Oh, uh, hello Private! I was just working on an invention, nothing to worry about!
Private: Oh! Because from the window of your lab door it looked like te were dancing!
Kowalski: Dancing, who detto anything about dancing! Heh, heh...
Private: te really were trying to dance, weren't you?
Kowalski: ...........*Sigh* Yes I was trying to dance. -_-
Private: Well you're never going to learn like that! I'll teach you! :D
Kowalski: Private, I might as well give up on dancing, playing the Pianoforte with one flipper would be easier than trying to do this rubbish!
Private: No, no! It's easy! te just need an instructor!
Kowalski: *Mumbling* Of all frivolities... -_- Fine, let's start.
Private: Let's try something più fun than salsa music, like disco! Isn't that exciting! :D
Kowalski: Oh good golly... *Faceflipper*
Private picks up the radio that Kowalski nearly broke, and turns it to "Rock With You" (I know it's Michael Jackson, don't blame me that we're doing it in chorus!) XD
Private: I wanna rock with you! *Starts dancing* Dance te into day!
Private does a complex series of moves, and finishes with jazz hands, o jazz flippers, in this case.
Kowalski: ...
Private: Ok, so I'm going to teach te how to do what I just did, but slowly. Start with lifting your left flipper.
Kowalski: Does the song have to be Michael Jackson? I would rather hear-
Private: JUST START DANCING!!!!
Kowalski: Ok, ok!
Kowalski mimes Private for quite some time, learning from his newest "dance instructor" moves that could be used anywhere in disco and pop music. After the first failed attempts, Kowalski and Private were in perfect harmony, reflections in a mirror.
4 Hours Later....
Kowalski: *Panting* Can... I have.... a water break? *Falls to floor*
Private: *Turns of radio and replays song* Ok Kowalski! Let's see how te did! Here's your dance test.
Kowalski: *Groan*
Private hits the play button and sits patiently in a chair with a rubric, like Simon from American Idol. Kowalski gets up and waits one più measure until the Canto and dancing begins.
Kowalski: Girl, close your eyes, let that rhythm get into to you...
He tries the first sposta of the song, a simple 360 degree spin, and does it without falling.
Kowalski's Thoughts: Yes! I can actually dance!
Kowalski: Don't try to fight it... There ain't nothin' that te can do... *Slides to the left*
Private smiles enthusiastically, happy that his student learned how to dance without tripping over his own two feet. Kowalski continues to sing and dance with ideal accuracy to the radio, and it almost sounds like a duet between himself and Michael Jackson. He found musicality through this disco song, and begins to add più intricate motions into the pattern.
Kowalski's Thoughts: This is a lot più easier than Salsa!
The song ends da fading out, and so does Kowalski's dance moves. Private starts to clap and congratulate Kowalski.
Private: Kowalski! That was fantastic! Just amazing!
Kowalski: Well I couldn't have done it without a certain instructor! *Pats Private's head*
Private: Thanks Kowalski! Now let's try to get Rico to do the same! We could be like a dancing trio! :D
Kowalski's Thoughts: O_O
