We wander through the snowy wasteland for miles on end. A loud moan comes out of nowhere and I turn my head in pursuit it find out where it is coming from. It contuines and my stomach vibrates and aches. A gnasiating feeling causes me to not feel so peachy.
"Keep up, Skipper, we're almost there!" He growls. I struggle to pick up the pace, but I'm just not fast enough. As clear the purest water, a cave sits under the sunset, gleaming. My breathing heavies as I enter.
The ice sparkles above and I feel like I'm walking through the blue beam of the northern lights. pesce Bones dangle from the roof of the cave and out the sides of bowls full of multicolored potions. One mixture captivates my attention. A live pesce wriggles around in one, so I devour the fish, which turns out to me my first meal as it wriggles down my throat. My dad slaps me, with what seems all his might, in the back of my head. "Don't eat that te stupid wretch!" My father scolds. A pinguino as old as the elder emerges from the darkness, wearing an eye patch where her left eye should be and missing a flipper.
She bows to my father's feet as well as everyone else. "How may I serve thy majesty,". She humbly asks in a voice that is like rip tides plunging into calm waters, stirring up trouble. "What shall become of my son?" He bellows causing the cave's walls to tremble under the boom of his voice. "Let me see," with that she tugs my flipper toward her eye and examines both sides.
Grasping a pesce skeleton from the ceiling, she tears a rib bone and is about to prick my flipper. "No! No! Dada! Help me, please!" I scream, reaching my quivering flipper to him for help, but just scoffs. "Stop it! A future king must never be afraid!" He scowls.
The twisted woman stabs my flipper and I begin to sob. Blood trickles down my fin and the lady holds it over a stack of logs and lights a blazing fire, which causes me to jump. The glow soon changes formation. "It's starting," the woman solemnly announces closing her eyes in a type of meditation. I tip-toe closer to her and she was still silently keeping her eyes shut, so I poke her cheek. No response. How rude! Maybe, she didn't notice. "I see something very dreadful to come." She foretells. I contuinously poke her shoulder, but she slaps my flipper. Ugh, some penguins are so annoying. I'm certainly not one of them, though.
Before my every eyes the flames dance rapidly. In the inferno a beast forms, running chills down my spine, but it wasn't because I was just hatched and the world is an intimidating and gigantic place, it was different. Heck, my dad used to be the scariest thing I'd ever seen, still this monster was far worse.
A petite figure shakes petrified successivo to it resembling me, I guess. The immense shape swallows up the minituare one and the woman begins narrating. "Once he enherits the throne, seals will attack every penguin. Many won't survive, including him. Thus, your Dynasty will vanish!"
The fuoco blows up like a puny, controlled explosion and in a flash turns to cinders. "He is cursed! Stay out! Get out! Be gone with your bad voodoo!" She shouts, thrashing my arm away. I rush to my dad who pushes me away from him.
When we're outside she approaches us. "But te can change his fate! On his fifth birthday, te have to enclose your son with a foca, guarnizione pup, in front of the whole rookery and he will have to kill it o be eaten." She says. Father just grins deviously and we head off.
