Monique walked over to the dock and put her borsa in her secret spot before sitting down. She didn't need the clock on her phone to tell her that it was too early for anyone, even her as someone who isn't a morning person, to be awake. Though, during these past few months, thoughts have been flooding the aspie's mind causing her to wake up completely early in the morning. It had been a few months since Kowalski and the others left for their mission over seas. She always felt the urge to come to the dock around this time, since it always gave her the reminder that they'll be back soon. She always wished she could wait there the whole time, but with a job and career, the letters the scientist sends to her instead of calling her in order to avoid chances of the enemy possibly hacking the phone line, and her making sure the three islanders didn't break the locks to enter the team's apartment, of course Monique couldn't stay at the dock. She wanted Kowalski to come back, partially to be sure he hasn't forgotten about her, but mostly to make sure he's alright. She missed him più than he would ever know.
She snapped out of her thoughts when she suddenly heard the sound of clanking from behind some crates. While hiding, she noticed the noise came from Cecil and Brick trying to rob the nearby warehouse. She quickly got her phone from her borsa and called the police. da the time she finished the call and put her phone back, Cecil heard a noise coming from the dock and approached it with Brick.
Monique prepared herself to go against them. Cecil didn't seem as worried when he saw her.
"Ha ha ha, get a load of this, Brick. This woman thinks she can take us down," the slimmer one detto humorously.
To prove a point, Monique punched Brick in the face, knocking him out. Furious as he can be, Cecil thought it would be best if he took out the girl and ran off into hiding. As he made the first punch, Monique managed to keep herself on her feet and hoped that what she learned from watching the team at the gym would pay off.
While on a boat, Kowalski kept tossing and turning in his bunk while he was sleeping. He suddenly woke up without feeling rested. The memory that his beloved was a larger distance away than just a few doors didn't feel right to him. He checked the clock in the boat. He saw some commotion at the dock, thus pulled out his binoculars to get a closer look. He saw 3 people: one big one on the ground and two people fighting. He recognized the big one to be Brick and one of the fighters to be Cecil, but he was shocked to realize that the other fighter was Monique. Kowalski was trying to convince himself that he doesn't need to worry so much, but what he saw successivo allowed his worry to go off the charts. He saw Cecil punch, punzone her in the face and the force her made her fall off the dock and into the water.
Kowalski had about enough. He tossed his binoculars to the side and colomba into the water. Fortunately for him, he and the team have been in water so often that they've been physically used to it. He swam to where he saw her fall and noticed that she was sinking fast. The bruises Monique received made it hard for anyone to recognize her, but the strategist recognized her in an instant. The scientist swam faster until he reached her. He wrapped his arm around her and quickly swam upward. After he pulled Monique onto the dock, Kowalski was getting some oxygen back and looked over watching Cecil and Brick being pushed into a police car. The strategist started thinking that that was probably had something to do with why Cecil almost killed her.
Worried about the thought that she nearly died, Kowalski immediately gave Monique CPR. Kowalski was still close to her, but kept his eyes closed, both to hope to himself that she'll be alright and to keep tears from dripping out of his eyes.
Monique slowly opened her eyes and slightly moved her head to see what was going on. She noticed Kowalski close to her. As if to make sure she wasn't imagining things, the aspie grabbed the scientist's hand, feeling that it was real, smooth, and surprisingly soaked, retrieving his attention. He opened and saw his beloved's eyes slightly opened.
"Kowalski?" she asked quietly.
Kowalski was really glad that she was alright. They gazed into each other's eyes for a short amount of time and he quickly embraced her, much to her surprise.
"Monique, te wouldn't believe how glad I am to know that you're still alive!" he spoke with deep emotion.
Monique was still shocked but immediately hugged him back tighter.
"Kowalski, I thought te were in Denmark," she detto in confusion.
"We were coming back today. I colomba in from the deck to get te after I saw Cecil give te that final punch," he explained while Monique was using her blotched-up arms to help her sit up.
She saw the barca from a distance and looked at Kowalski in shock.
"Wait a minute, while there was an option of remaining on the barca till te finally made it, te colomba off a boat, leaving the rest of the team on there, for me?" Monique asked while blushing.
"Of course I did. I couldn't allow te to fade away from me. One question, though, is why were you at the dock so early to begin with."
"Well, it's been my new routine. So, in a way, I could be waiting...for you," Monique quietly detto with her face turning a darker shade of red.
Kowalski cupped her chin and stared deeply in her eyes, both their eyes started forming tears.
"That is probably the most wonderful thing I've heard da far: knowing that you'll be waiting for me to return," Kowalski told her with a smile and stroking his fingers through her hair.
"Well, although it is early, welcome home, soldier," Monique greeted with a chuckle before both nerds kissed in the slowly vanishing moonlight.
No doubt that when the barca comes to the dock, Skipper would either find the two baciare to be nauseating o find it humorously predictable and tell them to get a room.

It was midnight. A box arrived at the Zoo. It was dato to Zookeeper Alice, who brought the gabbia, cassa over to the pinguino exhibit, then opened it. Out came two penguins, a small one, and a taller one. Alice left once the two creatures were in the exhibit. "Where are we?" asked the smaller penguin. "I don't know.us It's too dark. A football stadium, maybe?" The two dozed off.
"Skipper, who's that?" a voice said. "I don't know, but they better leave! Rico!"
"Bleh!"
The girls woke up. "Who are you?" the small one said. "I'm Skipper," one said, "this is Kowalski, Private, and Rico." "Bleyableh!" detto one of the taller ones. "Oh. Well, I'm Kat, and this is Ally. Nice to meet you!" detto the taller girl. There was a long silence, broken da Rico. "Bleh!" he yelled.
"Skipper, who's that?" a voice said. "I don't know, but they better leave! Rico!"
"Bleh!"
