I believe its purpose is to be informational about penguins in general and not necessarily to identify the team's true species, but if te look hard enough, te can make out "Emperor penguins are the largest of the 17 species ..." on the sign.

WolfHeart23 Wow, I thought the show just called them "Penguins". Strange, they resemble adelie penguins alot more than they do emperor penguins, with their markings and size. Good eye!
