"Ash, Brock, and Misty were on their way back to Olivine City when they saw a girl and a boy running down the path. All three of them recognized them as Florinda and Potter, who were passing through Johto. At the same time Jessie, James, and Meowth were coming up with a way to steal Florinda's Gloom and Ash's Pikachu. I have an idea. If we steal both Gloom and Pikachu, the boss will pay us handsomely if we steal both of them. suggested Meowth I like the way te think. replied James, agreeing with Meowth (With Ash, Brock, Misty, Florinda, and Potter) So, Ash, how about te have a battle with my Gloom? suggested Florinda Sure thing. agreed Ash I'll use Bayleef for this battle. replied Ash Begin! replied Brock, giving them their cue to start the battle Gloom! Use your Solarbeam! ordered Florinda Showers Quick Bayleef! Use your Tackle to stop Solarbeam! ordered Ash Gloom charged up for a Solarbeam and Bayleef used Tackle on Gloom Now Gloom! Finish Bayleef off with Solarbeam! ordered Florinda Bayleef! Use your Vine Whip! ordered Ash Before Bayleef could attack, Gloom finished it off with Solar Beam. Ash took his defeat well and returned his Bayleef to his Pokeball. After the battle, Team Rocket showed up in their balloon and ha rubato, stola Pikachu and Gloom. After reciting their motto, Florinda demanded they return her Gloom and Ash demanded they return his Pikachu. Jessie and James simply sent out Arbok and Victreebel. As usual, Victreebel bit down on James's head, leaving Ash with the perfect opportunity to use Noctowl to rescue Gloom and Pikachu and pop a hole in the balloon, sending Team Rocket blasting off. (Later that night) While Florinda, Potter, Brock, Ash, and Misty and Pikachu and Togepi were asleep, Jessie, James, and Meowth returned, thinking of stealing Gloom again. As usual Wobbuffet blew their cover when it popped out of their Pokeball, forcing Jessie to return it to its Pokeball. After this, Team Rocket left, realizing their plan wouldn't of have worked out anyways. (Who's That Pokemon? commerical break: Audience: Who's That Pokemon? Audience: It's Gloom! Gloom: Gloom!) (The successivo day) After waking up, Florinda decided to check the security footage and after checking it over a few times, she saw Team Rocket on the footage. Looks like that talking Meowth, the girl, and the guy came snooping around last night. They were probably after your Pikachu and my Gloom. replied Florinda Sounds that way. replied Ash. All of a sudden, Team Rocket showed up in a mecha Gloom on cue. Miss us? asked Jessie No. Now get out before i make you. replied Florinda. We don't take orders from you. Now hand over the Gloom! replied Jessie I'll never let te take my Gloom! replied Florinda Then i guess we'll have to force te to give us Gloom! replied Meowth Quick Gloom! Run away! ordered Stella That Gloom can run, but it can't get away from us! replied James Oh yeah! Gloom! Use your Double Team! ordered Florinda On her cue, Gloom's body started glowing and soon Gloom clones surrounded the mecha Gloom. We can't let these multiple Glooms beat us! We've got to fight back! ordered Jessie Right! replied James The two got out of the robot and sent in Victreebel and Arbok. Victreebel! Use your Sleep Powder! ordered James Victreebel used Sleep Powder but was unsuccesful and eventually got dizzy from Gloom's Double Team attack. Victreebel! Use your Razor Leaf! ordered James Gloom! Use your Stun Spore! ordered Florinda Stun Spore, huh? I got to see what Dexter says about this. replied Ash, taking out his Pokedex to get information on Stun Spore. Dexter: "Stun Spore: Gloom releases a yellow powder from its bulb on its back to stun its opponent, leaving them down for the count" Quick Arbok! Try your Tackle attack! ordered Jessie Arbok was succesful in tackling Gloom, which dug in its heels to absorb the shock, allowing it to land safely. After taking a Tackle attack from Arbok, Florinda finally had Gloom send them blasting off with Solar Beam (Later that afternoon) Ash, Brock, and Misty parted ways with Florinda and Potter before heading on to Olivine City"
