Kid Stuff
Chapter 1
General
“Mom! I’m leaving!” Gwen yelled. She raced down the street, her long brown hair flying behind her. Gwen is 9 years old. She was running to her best friend Collins house. Somebody was moving into the house successivo door, and she wanted to be there. “Yes, new meat.” A voice Gwen knew all too well. Alejandro and his thugs… crap She thought. Alejandro and his “thugs” are a bunch of eighth graders at Westover Hall. They beat up her and Collins. Their names are Alejandro, (duh) Trent, and Tyler. Of course they have their girlfriends, Heather, Courtney, and Lindsey. And of course, all 6 of them just had to be on that strada, via at that moment. “Oh, Tyler! Can we beat this shrimp?” Gwen froze, realizing Lindsey saw her. She looked at Collins house, two houses down. “Hello, Al.” She said. He scowled, and picked her up da her shirt. That’s when she screamed. Then Trent looked at her with a flash of concern in his eyes. Tyler smirked. She opened her eyes and saw Alejandro raise his fist. Then he dropped her with a yelp of pain. “Leave my friend ALONE!” She heard Collins yell. She breathed a sigh of relief until she saw Trent pick Collins up, and Tyler took her feet. They lifted her and swung her. Gwen shook the fuzz from her brain, and charged. The girlfriends just stood there watching. Alejandro stood up, recovering from the kick to the shin. Gwen managed to not get hit in the eye, and grabbed Collins’ wrist. She ran down the strada, via with her best friend, Collins short hair bouncing, and Gwen’s hair flying.
“Gwen! Why didn’t te use the back entrance?” Collins asked. They developed a way to avoid them with a back entrance through the woods surrounding Collins’ property. “Lindsey saw me. I couldn’t run.” Gwen explained. After surviving Al’s gang, they were sitting on a beanbag in Collins’s room. Collins’ room is basically turquoise and black, with black dressers, blue walls, and other things scattered around the room. “Lets change the subject: When is Jose going to babysit us again?” Collins asked. Collins has a crush on Alejandro’s older brother Jose even though he’s 16. Jose also babysits them on Thursdays (which today just happens to be) because their parents take night classes together. “Jose is coming tonight, Juliet.” Gwen spat. Collins realized Gwen might not want to deal with a Burromurto. Even though Jose is super nice. “But Jose isn’t Alejandro, o Carlos for that matter.” Carlos has a job at a local restaurant and he is always nasty to them when Alejandro is around, even if he is the oldest. “Ok I really should give Jose più credit.” Gwen said. Collins lied down on the bed, her silvery blond hair making a fan shape against the dark bedspread. “Hey! Look the new neighbors have a boy out there! I think he’s our age.” Gwen was already on her feet. She has a rep for being heartless and cold because she is Goth. She wants at least one più person to know she exists. “Hey Mrs. Ava. We are going to go talk to the new family ok?” Gwen asked. “Ok”
“Hi. I’m Duncan.” The boy announced the secondo the girls walked up to him. Duncan was wearing A skull T-shirt with black shorts. He kept looking at Gwen with alzavola, teal eyes. “You’re pretty.” He said.
