That successivo morning, I woke before anyone else-at 3:30 in the morning. Chris detto he was gonna wake everybody at 4:00, but this was urgent. I quietly got out of my bunk and shook Dani awake. "Dani..." I whispered. "Danielle."
"Hmm?" She looked around. "Britt?" She sat up, her long ponytail matted from sleep. "What do te want? It's 3 in the morning." She rubbed her eyes.
"Shhh.." I detto and tiptoed over to Rikki's bunk, and touched her locket, I picked it up off her neck, and she remained asleep. If I know Rikki, it'd take fireworks right above her head to wake her up.
I closed my hand around the locket-and snapped it off her neck. Strangely, she didn't move. o budge. o twitch even the slightest.
I held her silver locket in my palm, feeling the warmth of the magic pricking at my skin. I motioned for Dani to follow me out of the trailer, adn we both walked out behind the trailers.
I kneeled on the ground with her, and opened my palm. Instantly, the locket exploded and a visual screen appeared above it, like a hologram. I looked at Dani, she looked at me and shurgged, then we looked back at the hologram screen.
Nothing happened. Then, a small item flickered on the screen. It was a small brown thing, a tiki, I realized, once the picture straightened and cleared. It was a small brown wooden tiki doll, not liek the one Beth found, but this one was about two inches big.
"What does it do?" I asked Dani. She shrugged and touched the screen. Her fingers went into the screen, and she gasped, but then reached in to grab the doll. She pulled it out, gasping, but with no trouble otherwise.
She held it in her right palm, and it started glowing.
Her hand became a glowing red, and she realized what the tiki was for.
"This is gonna reverse the spell." She said. "I don't know what it's called, but I've seen this before. In my years of magic study."
"What will it do?" I asked softly.
"Anything. It will freeze time, it will mostra te the future. Reverse any spell." Dani smiled at me a bit, probably out of happiness that she was gonna return to normal. She raised the tiki to the sky, it started glowing with power, then, something snatched it out of her hand. She gasped in surprise, and looked to her right to see where the tiki went. A small fuoco creature stood there, holding the tiki.
"AAAAH!" Dani shot backwards.
"Shhh, it's ok." I eased her. Obviously although her many years of magic study, she's never seen a firemental.
"What is it?" She quieted her voice.
"It's a firemental. A magical creature composed of fire." I explained. I edged slowly towards the shy little firemental that held the tiki.
"Hi. What's your name?" I asked.
"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSophia." it said.
"Hi Sophia. Can we have the tiki?" I asked softly, Dani watching uneasily, and the fuoco girl shook her head in fear. She thought I was a mortal.
"Shhh," I sat successivo to her, restraining her from runnig away. "It's ok, I'm a mage."
Sophia stopped squirming and looked at me. "Are te friendssssssssssssssss with Karaaaaaaa?"
"Who's Kara?" Dani asked.
I chuckled a bit. "Wow, I'm STILL a più andvanced mage than you."
Dani growled a bit, then I turned back to Sophia. "I know a Kara, but I'm not sure we know the same one. Is she Friends with two girls named Emily and Adriane?"
"Ahhhh," Sophia sat on the ground with me. "The Warrior and Healer magessssssssssss. What magesssssssssssss are you?"
"I'm Brittanya, a Waterlight mage, and this is Dani, but she was my boyfriend turned into a girl. His name is Duncan, and he's a Dragon mage."
[i]"Are te related to Zachariah?" Sophia walked over to Dani.
"Who?" Dani asked. "Oh, I have a cousin named Zachariah."
"Hmmmm?"
"Dirty blonde hair, green eyes, bronzed skin?" Dani described.
"Yessssssssss!" The young Dragon mage from the SSSSSSSSSSShadowlandssssssss."
"Yes." I nodded. "Now, um....can we have the tiki back now?"
Sophia didn't answer the question. Instead, her figure started shaking and dissipating. "I'm being called da the sssssssssssorceresssssssss!" Help me!" she cried out before completely falling apart into thick air particles that drifted into the sky.
"Oh no!" I colomba for the tiki, which Sophia still had. "It's gone! We need to get them both back!"
"What's worse is, Miranda's got Sophia!!!!" Dani said. How did Dani know about Miranda?
