A mese passed da without much happening. I was finally in the secondo trimesterâit was about time. Though, with this, my clothes grew tighter, causing for the need to get bigger ones. Luckily, it seemed that my parents had forgotten all about me, not to forget my numerous credit cards, meaning that they still worked. Sierra happily agreed to go shopping for new clothes with me.
âEw, these are,â I paused to think of a word, âthese are just, horrible. Pregnant women wear these?â
We were in a maternity store in a nearby mall.
Sierra looked around the store and pointed to each pregnant woman around, âShe doesâŠand she doesâŠandââ
âSierra!â I growled.
âOh, sorry.â
Then, I felt a wave of nauseaâthe morning sickness hadnât went away completely da then. I knew I had to vomit, but there werenât any trash cans around. The only object close-by to barf in was a womanâs borsa that lay outside of a dressing room; I had no other choice, but to upchuck in there. When I finished, I found Sierra, âLetâs go to another store.â
âYouâre breath kind of smells like vomit,â She noted mindlessly.
âExactly,â I replied, âThatâs why we have to get out of here.â
âDisgusting!â I heard a womanâs voice in the background.
âLetâs go,â I dragged her out of the store.
We wandered around the mall endlessly to look for a store with piĂč fashionable maternity clothes, but to no use. I was exhausted from all of the walking that we ended up having to crash down at one of the tables in the Cibo court until I gained up some piĂč energy. Being pregnant really wore me out.
âOh Chris,â We heard someoneâs voice (Serenaâs?!) say loudly, âYouâre such a romantic.â
Sierra and I both turned our heads in the direction of her motherâs voice. Serena was walking around the mall with Chris.
âI know,â I could see Chris smirk.
âI donât see why that Blaineley would have broken-up with you. Youâre like the greatest guy ever!â
âIâm pretty awesome, arenât I?â
âYouâre piĂč than awesome.â
Sierraâs mom is completely nuts if she truly believes that Chris is awesome. I was beginning to think that he was using her since she thought he was the greatest guy on the planet; he obviously just wanted someone to constantly tell him that he was awesome all of the time. Serenaâs too stupid for her own good.
âChris?!â We heard Blaineleyâs voice yelled.
I knew that a fight would be going on soon, so Sierra and I tried to sneak off. We didnât exactly want to see the catfight between her mother and Blaineley.
âWeâre diviso, spalato up for a week and te go and find yourself some whore?â
Luckily, we were gone quickly so we didnât have to hear anymore of the spat.
We finished up a few hours laterâit would have taken less time if I hadnât gotten so tired so easily. We headed back to Sierraâs house where I fell asleep on the divano not even five minuti after we got back.
******************************
âTime to wake up,â I heard Alejandroâs voice call as he stroked his hand against my face.
âNo,â I answered without even bothering to open my eyes, âI donât want to get up. Who even gave te permission to bother me while Iâm sleeping?â
âSierra did.â
âWell, if te hadnât noticed, Sierraâs not my mom. te canât wake me up until I want to wake up. Iâm tired and itâs your fault.â
âOh, mi amor, youâre so difficult, and I Amore it. But still, I donât see how this is my fault.â
âYou put her in me, so itâs your fault,â I rolled over to face the back of the couch.
âYouâre gorgeous when youâre angry at me.â
âIâm too tired to listen to you,â I tried to concentrate on going back to sleep, but Alejandro just wouldnât allow it.
âYouâre going to have to get up sometime.â
âItâs not going to be now.â
âYes it will,â He scooped me off of the divano and into his arms, âYou have to go to the doctorâs and te asked me to come with you.â
âCall them to ask for an appointment another day; Iâm too tired today,â I glared up at him.
âYouâre going, chica. Iâll drag te if I have to.â
âYouâre already carrying me.â
âNow all we have to do is leave.â
âNo,â I replied. He placed me onto the floor when I stood and I continued to talk, âI have to get ready. I have to get a doccia and get dressed and fix my hairââ
He shut me up from my ranting da baciare me. I kissed him back and soon I was back in his arms. He carried me off to the bathroom considering I needed to get a shower.
******************************
We both emerged from the doccia about a half an ora later. I was wrapped in a towel and so was Alejandro. I ordered him to get out of the bathroom while I got ready.
I got ready besides getting dressed. I went back to the guest room and threw some clothes on that fit me piĂč comfortably.
âOkay, Iâm ready,â I called to Alejandro after I walked out of the room.
âAnd te look great,â He replied.
We started walking towards to the door to leave.
âNo I donât, Iâm fat,â I motioned to my slightly swollen stomach.
âThatâs just the baby making herself comfortable.â
Before I knew what he was doing, he was on the wooden floor, both hands on my stomach, talking to the baby, âTell your mommy that sheâs not fat.â
Then I felt it. She kicked for the first time.
I put a hand to my mouth in surprise, âAlejandro, did te feel that?â
He looked up at me, a wide smile spread across his face, âYeah, she kicked. And, sheâs telling te that youâre not fat,â He stood up and kissed me.
âI Amore you,â He detto after we got done kissing.
âI Amore you, too.â
