For that matter, I don't see what you mean by saying that a couple being "done a million times" makes it bad. Are you saying you dislike it because it's popular? That doesn't make sense to me.

TDI_Angel Meh, that's your opinion. I love them together, nothing will change that. I think that Mal and Zoey having a romantic dynamic adds a new, much needed dimmension to Zoey's character.
