why are jasper and rosalies last names hale and not cullen?

The first answer is part good...but why still pretend they are twins if not necessary will te ask? Well, it was detto in one of the libri that Rosalie decided to keep her human name and not take Cullens because it was the only thing remaining about her human life and we all know how attach to her human life Rosalie is!
