Bella's personality, is so very obvious! If you've read the libri properly and watched the movies, then even the characters talk about what type of person Bella is, like it is detto all the time.

Bella has a personality;
-Modest
-Clumsy
-Caring
-Protective
-Responsible
-Shy
-Down to earth
-Dislikes attentions.
-loves Leggere classics.
-Hanging out with friends.
-She wants to give everything a go.
-She's honest and loyal.
-She's supportive.
-She active, getting out with mates and riding motorbikes and jumping off cliffs.

-She's Maternal, with her baby girl.
-She values her family for her life.
-She dislikes sports.
-She's smart in school.
-She has ambitious.


The lista goes on, Bella's personality is so broad and so vibrant, te possibly can't miss it.

Of course she does. She's an awkward and somewhat shy girl who is unaware of her own strengths and attractiveness. She can come across as weak and a bit of a pushover until the well being of those she cares about is threatened. It's then that Bella's strength manifests itself. She will do anything for those she cares about. Right from the beginning, she showed her selflessness when she moved to Forks because it would allow her stepdad to pursue his baseball career. Through most of the libri Bella possesses no special powers, she's not specially smart nor has any great fighting moves, but she's still willing to put herself in danger for those she cares about. That to me makes her a much stronger character than all those superheros/magic wielding characters that are currently floating about

No, it's not true. If that were true, Twilight would not be a best-selling series, because everyone knows that a character (especially the main character) isn't a character without a persona. Persona is defined as "The aspect(s) of someone's character that is presented to o perceived da others."

Bella is presented as:
loyal
unique because she is immune to all mental vampire abilities
she's clumsy (in a cute way!)
one-of-a-kind because she is the mortal Amore of an immortal vampire (this rarely happens, according to the novels)
she's tomboy-ish
she hates being the center of attention
she has a strong protective instinct
she's Ribelle - The Brave
she'll do anything for her loved ones
when it comes to family/friend disputes, she's a lover instead of a fighter (which is why she sincerely wants Edward and Jacob to be Friends instead of enemies)

So, yes, she does have "persona," according to the true essence of the term.
