So we, as Twilighters, all know that even IF we both like Jacob and Edward, we're secertely più devoted to one than the other. Renesmee's name derives from an amalgamation of the names of Bella's mother, Renée, and her mother-in-law, Esme. Her middle name, Carlie, is a portmanteau of Bella's father-in-law, Carlisle, and Charlie, Bella's biological father.
