I Amore English accents :) Being American sucks lol
I hate british sterio types honestly we arn't posh at all te would agree if te went to burnley o nelson and saw all the chavs! I'm from burnley so no offence to other peeps from burnleyo
thanks, i guess the erba just always seems greener..."on the other side of the pond" haha lol well thanks, but truly, take it from one: Most americans are snotty gits (with the exception of some)
I wouldn't bother putting on an accent, people will Amore the way te sound different and you'll pick up the accent if te stay for a while. Hope te enjoy yourself- I'm sure te will! I'm english and I Amore it here!
Im from Bosnia, and I've been learning English for 8 years. For the past 4 years I've been talking with British accent. Some people say it's annoying and not cool, but most of my teachers say is's charming and really great, becouse most people these days prefer American accent

Just don't over-do it. I wouldn't get offended, but some american's put on REALLY strong english accents and to us, we know that they're fake... tone it down a bit. We're not THAT posh!! :)
I'm Norwegian, but I lived in England when I learned English and therefor I speak with an English accent. I reckon you'd be fine. I wouldn't be offended, and I don't think too many would see any harm in it. After all, imitation is the highest form of flattery.
I personally Amore British accents. I spent some of the most important years of my childhood in England, and so I see it as a secondo home. Hearing British accents makes me feel all fuzzy inside, it brings back memories and all that jazz.
My English teacher in Norway is American, and all of the students have American accents. (All the American TV shows they send here are, of course, to blame). They're all awfully amazed when I speak English. It's kind of fun ;)

I thought I was the only one who detto 'all that jazz'! People thought I was weird, but it turns out I'm not! :)
It's not something I normally say, but it came naturally when I was Scrivere this. I don't think you're weird for saying it, though. I know several people who say it all the time.
I wouldn't be offended, but it could get annoying. If te spoke in the wrong accent, people may think you're a git. I wouldn't, but a lot of people are idiots. Thank te for loving our accent!

no, thank te 4 having one i can Amore :) da the way, the only reason american girls fancie blokes like rob pattonson is cuz hes from england and when he played diggory he had an accent. but he dropped it during the twilight movies, cuz he supposedlylived in forks.
i noticed in the HP libri people often called each other da thier surname. cuz i guess a first name basis is reserved for Friends and girlfriends/boyfriends. do yall normally call people da there surname?
