Angels, Demons and Humans all have coexisted in this world, as physical manifestations, mortal and feeling creatures. When they die, their soul becomes lost in the spirit world, a universe within a universe, containing remnants of all that has ended physically in the many worlds that exist within this universe.

Two worlds have already ended and it is this realm that still holds strong, yet it is torn by war, such is the way of most worlds. For years demons and angels have battled, their reasons varying from power to religion. The angels have deemed the powers of the demons impure and degrading to the spirit world, while the demons simply seem content to battle, be it for survival, power, or their destructive nature but bloodlust is common among all living beings.

The humans, however, never being quite as in tune to the spirit world, the source of the strange powers both the angels and demons have, were stuck in between. For years they were enslaved by the demons, before the angels stepped in and banished the demons to the Barren grounds where there is scarce any food, the land is infertile, and there is nothing to be seen but bare white flat land, layered with snow and ice; A frozen purgatory.

Now the humans live in harmony with the angels, as the demons struggle for their sruvival. But how long will this last? How long before the demons retaliate? And are humans in a true alliance with the angels? Or is this a different kind of enslavement...

Edit: I believe there should be room for more than just three races here. Like elves werewolves, and the like but I mostly put thought into those main three and was very eager to start. Hopefully, we can develop more within the rp.

((Okay, I know I wasn't very good at setting this one up so, ask me any questions you have and I will explain the best I can. There is no set time period for this. So it can be modern, futuristic, medieval, etc... I may not be able to be on as much because I have other things to tend to. Sex is perfectly fine as long as the entire rp doesn't center around it.. it has to have at least a little bit of everything in it to keep it going. You don't have to post your profile, just have your character in mind and enjoy! Thanks!))

Finnick went silent for a while. "Tell me, if it wasn't for you're friend Zoey would you be here right now? Would you even be alive? Then answer me this, did the crimes we commit lack in similarity ? Are you no better than I ? These angels pick and choose, they play favorites." He paused again. "It just isn't right.." he trailed off.

"That doesn't exactly answer me question.." Isaac said with slight distain in his voice. "and don't insult Zoey in front of me. If it wasn't for her, me and countless other innocent demons would be either dead or in the barren. "

"Come on, there's no point in waiting around here." Vicus offered an arm to her. He only had three. His upper right arm had been pinned pinned betwixt a dying demon's teeth, during thei travels here. He was lucky Shadow was there.

"So, Captain, what are your plans?" Giovanni asked after downing a bit.

Shadow nodded and took his arm before standing up. "where is it you suggest we go, then?"

Zoey shrugged, "in all honesty I wasn't expecting to be given this position, you might do better asking me that question again tomorrow."

"Away from here.... and that." He nodded towards the horned demon who paced behind the wall. "Let's see if we can find our way back to the settlment."


Giovanni chuckled. "Perhaps. Would you really have an answer then, either?"

The demon screamed and struggled, trying pull himself from this creature's clutches. He cried for help in his native tongue but it seemed he was as dead as soon as he broke the seal.

The blood coated his lips and poured into his mouth. The demon's mouth watered as he got a taste of the liquid. Biting down further, the crazed being tore out a huge chunk of his neck. He savored the flesh for a moment, but his ravaging hunger took hold and he began to savagely tear at his savior.

Shadow nodded and walked with him. "do you think we'll be able to find it again?"

"Only one way to find out," Zoey said before taking a large swig of her drink.

Izzy nodded, "of course we will," she smiled to him, "and so will Daddy."

Vicus tutted at her. "Probably not. We'll probably die terribly slow deaths, as usual."

"You drink like might not make it to tomorrow! Relax, Zoey, this is just the beginning of something greater."

Drake scrunched his face up. "What was daddy like?"


The demon's screams turned into gurgles which died into silence. Nothing but the sound of tearing flesh and crucnhing bones could be heard.

Fallax devoured the demon. He looked around for any signs of where the being who saved him in more than one way came from.

He cocked his head to the side a little. He sniffed the air. Nothing. Having only one trail, he followed it, hopeful for another meal.

"you're so comforting," Shadow rolled her eyes before shoving him away from her. 

"oh you worry too much, I can handle my liquor, Gio."

Izzy kissed the small boy on the head, "you actually remind me a lot of him. He's kind and gentile, and he loves you both very much. He'd do anything to keep us safe, that's the only reason he's not with us now, cause he was trying to protect us."

Vicus stopped, a little surprised at being pushed away, watched her a bit and then continued to follow her. "It shouldn't be too hard to find. Just for the one thing that isn't snow... or sky.'"

"You learn that from your fallen days?"

Annabelle listened to her words, feeling shame from them. An idea began to form in her head... Drake blineked, doubting her words a little.

The trail had since disappeared before it lead to a distance stone wall, from which three demons were travelling. One was left far behind the other two. He was tall, and thick with horns that branched out like a tree. The skulls of infants and children dangled from them, clunking together as he walked. He wore red and black satin, draped over his body and eaten at the edges by time. His head was almost human but with strange animal like qaulity to it.

The demon followed the trail all the way up to the stone wall. His wing drug behind him, limp, broken, useless, and dead. "I...I can do something with that..."

Garland picked up a faint scent in the air. It smelled like 3 separate beings. It was amazing how he could smell anything the snow. His face contorted in confusion and rage as he dashed after the scent.

"Direction...? Direction? DIRECTION?! Look around you!" Vicus threw his arms up. "THERE IS NO DIRECTION! We keep going and we will end up somewhere... or nowhere. And does it matter if we make it? If we don't die out here, then we die in there. Just as, we'd die by the Angels if we were not thrown in the Barren. It doesn't matter which way we go or what we do. It'll all end the same." Vicus chuckled and pinched Shadow's cheek. "Quite the romantic notion, don't you hink?"

"You never really told me about your fallen days...."

He wandered around the wall, incessantly mumbling about Pangea, cucumbers, sleep pants, oscillating fans, and their plot to take over Space Mexico with a taxidermist's toothbrush filled with Germ-X.

He turned back and spotted the three walking (correct?), quickly charging after them. "EY!!" he called out. "Where's the entrance to the cheese tree!? I have to find my monkey before he blows up the moon!"

Giovanni feigned a chuckle, he was worried. Arkel was planning something. He took a huge swig and looked over his shoulder at his brother as he left the bar.

Vicus blinked and turned his head. "Wha...what?" The horned demon looked at Fallax with absolute disgust.

Uriel was awaiting in the master dining room with her hands folded on the table. Her eyes glowing by the candlelight.

He let out another high-pitched snicker, quivered a little bit, then fell to the ground, collapsing under the quickly exhausted energy from his newest meal.

"Uh... yes... unless one of us misheard." Vicus watched his old master kneel down next to fallax and smile.

"Ah... I recognize this one. Fallax... little Fallax. Left his own kind for a human." He spat on Fallax's back.
